    Abstract: An adhesive composition consisting essentially of two different types of chloroprene polymers, an oil-soluble, heat-hardenable phenol-aldehyde resin, an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal oxide or hydroxide and a zinc salt of rosin. The two different types of chloroprene polymers include (1) a low softening, high crystallizing neoprene and (2) a low softening, medium crystallizing neoprene.
