  • Patent number: 9550110
Abstract: A cashless play system for arcade games on passenger ships utilizes a key card reader to read patron identity information. The key card reader sends the patron identity information to a shipboard game play server and receives game play authorization information based on the patron identity information and patron data stored in a shipboard patron database. The key card reader activates the arcade game based on the game play authorization information and causes game play data to be stored in a game play database. Further, the game play server uploads game play data to a remote server, at a geographic location other than the geographic location of the passenger ship, and downloads game play server updates.

  • Publication number: 20090238376
Abstract: A location based audio reception zone system for use in vehicle includes a driver's seat and one or more passenger seats. A radio frequency (RF) transmitter is used for transmitting entertainment content to one or more headsets located in a passenger seat. The RF transmitter transmits in a predefined reception zone for disabling audio in a headset located within the zone for preventing a driver from using the headset when in the driver's seat. • Publication number: 20090153390
Abstract: An arbitration system and method for use with wireless remote control devices in a multiple video screen entertainment system includes transmitting a control signal from the remote to one or more video devices in the entertainment system. The control signal is received at a video screen where the signal strength of the control signal is measured at each device. A signal representing the received signal strength is transmitted from a video device to the remote and a comparison is made of the received signal strength of each of the received signals from each video device at the remote. The remote is then associated to the video device having the highest signal strength where a command is transmitted from the remote with an identification indication for its control of that video device.
