The hub comprises an oval body having a major axis and a minor axis extending through a center of the hub, and a root profile wall circumscribing the major and minor axes.     Abstract: A valve comprises a valve cartridge, a valve stem and a valve seal. The valve cartridge comprises a generally cylindrical cartridge body, a bore extending longitudinally through the cartridge body, and an outlet passage and intermittent inlet passages extending through a side wall of the cartridge body to intersect the bore. The valve stem comprises an elongate body configured to slide within the bore, and a neck and a seal channel circumscribing the elongate body. The valve seal is seated within the seal channel. The valve stem slides within the bore to move the seal channel past the inlet passages. Portions of the cartridge body between the inlet passages retain the valve seal within the valve channel until the inlet passages are open to the neck. In one embodiment, the inlet passages form a crenelated edge. In another embodiment, the inlet passages form a ported end.

The flow meter is disposed within the flow of pressurized fluid to measure volumetric flow of the pressurized fluid. The trigger lever is configured to be manually displaced to mechanically open the valve. The trigger release mechanism is connected to the trigger lever and is selectively actuated to mechanically prevent the trigger lever from opening the valve when the trigger lever is displaced. The meter electronics is connected to the flow meter and the trigger release mechanism to actuate the trigger release mechanism based on output of the flow meter.

    Abstract: The cable hose 30 and hose 20 are designed for use in a system where the handset dispenser 10 is remote from the metering and pumping function. As the user dispenses oil or other fluids, data is transmitted by a communication wire 30 that runs inside the hose 20 that transports the fluid. The power to energize the components is also transmitted through the same wire 30. A swivel 36 is designed for use with this hose 20 and cable 30 so as to limit rotation to less than 360 degrees thereby preventing damage to the cable 30 from excessive twisting. A barbed swivel fitting 38 attaches to the hose 20 and is provided with a partial circumferential groove 40 which extends around the fitting 38 less than 360 degrees and provides a physical barrier preventing rotation beyond the desired amount.

    Abstract: The ramped valve yoke is utilized in a hydraulic reciprocating motor. The uniqueness of this valve yoke is the profile of the surface on which a ball-detent mechanism rides. The profile ensures the ball-detent will always snap into a position on either end of the profile and prevents the ball-detent from stopping on the profile. This action ensures the switching valve of a hydraulic reciprocating motor will always be fully engaged in either one of two positions and will never stop half way between positions.
