  • Publication number: 20210189725
Abstract: This invention relates to the construction of a building using Braced Frame Slab Assemblies Having Heavy Perimeter Rails that comprise Floor Slab and Wall Slab Assemblies formed of heavy perimeter Rails, with Rail Frame Connectors, such as a plurality of heavy threaded screws, joining the heavy perimeter Rails to form the Floor Slabs and Wall Slabs. The Slab can then be equipped with joists for floors or studs for walls, and with structural sheathing to provide shear load carrying capacity. The Slab to Slab Connectors also secure juxtaposed Floor Slabs and Wall Slabs.

  • Patent number: 11041302
Abstract: The present Cellular Concrete Filled Structural Steel Wall Frames are interconnected in three dimensions with other modular construction elements to enable the rapid construction of multi-story buildings with improved quality of construction over that found in traditional multi-story building construction techniques. These Cellular Concrete Structural Steel Wall Frames typically have a Thin Concrete Wall Panel affixed to the exterior of the structural steel, and also electrical and plumbing rough utility components installed in the Wall Frames.

  • Patent number: 10584484
Abstract: The present Stacked Wall Truss Construction and its use in multi-story buildings makes use of prefabricated modular wall elements (100) that are interconnected in three dimensions to enable the rapid completion of building construction with improved quality of construction over that found in traditional multi-story building construction. The resultant building is a structural steel frame without the use of stacking columns. Vierendeel trusses (100) with vertical members (101-105) of tube steel are used, thereby the construction process becomes stacking trusses fit up as complete walls, not erecting columns. An inner “Mating Member” (131-135) enables each truss to be near perfectly positioned on top of the installed truss below.

Abstract: The present Stacked Wall Truss Construction and its use in multi-story buildings makes use of prefabricated modular wall elements (100) that are interconnected in three dimensions to enable the rapid completion of building construction with improved quality of construction over that found in traditional multi-story building construction. The walls are created with stacking modular elements to form a vertically continuous structure, and Floor Modules (161,162) are supported by a Floor Shelf (141-144) at predetermined elevations to provide a solid surface on top of which a Topping Slab (1031,1032) of concrete is poured which fills the space between the Floor Module and the Wall Trusses to create an integral structure.

  • Patent number: 4228548
Abstract: An athletic glove comprises a glove body having a substantially planar configuration and which is adapted to be wrapped about the hand, wrist, and arm portions of an arm extremity. First and second rigid brace members are disposed within pockets formed within the glove body for engaging the interior, palm-side of the extremity portions, as well as the exterior, back side of the extremity portions. The two braces operatively cooperate to rigidify the extremity wrist whereby when the extremity undergoes a particular movement, the hand, wrist, and arm portions thereof move in unison. The second brace member may be bent at a central portion thereof in order to fix the disposition of the wrist at a predetermined inclination, and padded fabric may be secured to the interior surface of the glove body for wearing comfort purposes.
