Abstract: A binder for pelletizing particulate mineral material. The binder including about 30-99.5% modified native starch, and about 0.2-80% of water-dispersible polymer material selected from the group consisting of water-dispersible natural gums, water-dispersible pectins, water-dispersible starch derivatives, water-dispersible cellulose derivatives, water-dispersible vinyl polymers, water-dispersible acrylic polymers and mixtures thereof. Alternate embodiments include from about 0.5-50% lignosulfonates and/or about 0.2-40% soda ash. Mineral ore concentrate is also disclosed as are mineral ore and iron ore pellets. In addition, methods of binding particulate mineral material and of making mineral ore pellets are also disclosed.

Abstract: A carrying device (20) for use in conjunction with the use of a wheelchair (70) by a catherized person. A preferred carrying device (20) is adapted to attach to pivotally connected cross-braces (72) of the wheelchair (70). Another preferred carrying device (20) includes catheter tubing (12) of a gravity flow drainage system (8) for an indwelling urinary catheter (4). The carrying device (20) is preferably used to maintain the gravity flow drainage system (8) by supporting the excess catheter tubing (12) in a horizontal orientation when the carrying device (20) is engaged at an elevation lower than the elevation of the seat (74) of the wheelchair (70) such that substantially horizontal orientation. An alternate embodiment of the carrying device (20) preferably includes drainage bag support means (42) for supporting the drainage bag (6) at an elevation lower than the elevation of the excess drainage tubing (12). Methods for maintaining the gravity flow drainage system are also provided.

Abstract: A catheter tube carrying device for use in conjunction with the use of a wheelchair by a catheterized person. The carrying device includes catheter tube support means for engaging excess catheter tubing of a gravity flow drainage system for an catheter. The carrying device is used to maintain the gravity flow drainage system by supporting catheter tubing in a horizontal orientation when the catheter tube carrying device is engaged below the seat of the wheelchair. The carrying device preferably includes drainage bag support means for supporting the drainage bag at an elevation lower than the elevation of the drainage tube. Preferably, the carrying device is attached to cross-braces below the set of the wheelchair. Methods for maintaining the gravity flow drainage system are also provided.
