  • Publication number: 20240125033
Abstract: A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry items according to a cycle of operation includes a chassis defining an interior. A rotatable treating chamber is located within the interior. An antenna is configured to receive RFID data from RFID tags on the laundry items and outputs a signal indicative of the RFID data. A controller receives the signal from the antenna and is configured to process the signal and to suggest, alter, or implement the cycle of operation based on the signal.

  • Patent number: 5410398
Abstract: A device for automatically compensating for dynamic boresight errors between a visual line of sight and the apparent center of a beam of radiation emitted by the device. The radiation emitted by the device is used to guide a "beam-riding" missile to its target. Different sectors of the beam radiated by the device are modulated by different codes so that the missile can sense the apparent center of the beam. Optics within the device sense the extent to which the visual line of sight deviates from the apparent center of the radiated beam by means of measurements upon the coincidence of the visual line of sight and the apparent center of the beam of radiation within the device. The device then alters the coding of the radiated beam so that the apparent center of the radiated beam maintains alignment with the visual line of sight.

  • Patent number: 3979375
Abstract: A process for fractionating the whole wheat kernel into its bran, germ and endosperm components includes the steps of tempering the wheat kernel in water, pin milling the wheat kernel, sifting the milled kernal to separate the germ and bran components from the endosperm, hydrating and agitating the endosperm to just saturate it and to form a thick, dough-like mass and mechanically working, by kneading, cutting and stretching, the dough-like mass while continuously washing it with water to separate the non-gluten endosperm components from the gluten. The bran and germ components can be separated from each other by conventional gravity table techniques.
