    Abstract: A camper and a pickup truck are combined so that the camper can be stored in the cargo area of the pickup truck in a manner that does not interfere with the operation of the pickup truck. The camper has rigid walls so the camper is suitable for use in inclimate weather conditions, yet the cargo area of the truck is essentially unobstructed when the camper is in the stored configuration. The camper top is stored on top of the bed of the truck.
