Abstract: A retractable column formed from a set of at least three flexible webs with each of the webs having a set of teeth located along opposite edges of the webs, each of the teeth having a first ear obliquely extending from a first side and a second ear obliquely extending from a second side, each of the teeth spaced from an adjacent tooth a base distance substantially equal to a root distance of a tooth on the web so that when a tooth on one of the webs is engaged in a neck to neck relationship with a pair of teeth on one of the other webs the teeth on each of the webs engage each other in an interlocking relationship to hold the webs proximate each other to form a rigid column.

Abstract: A retractable support column for overhead structures that comprises there sets of rectangular shaped links that have mating hooks extending laterally outward from adjacent link chains so that the hooks can engage each other when the links are placed vertical next to each other and can disengage each other when the lower link is rotated into a horizontal position with a drive mechanism for engaging gear racks on the link chains to permit the user to raise and lower retractable column.

Abstract: A slider creeper that a person may lie on for working under vehicles, with the slider creeper having a back panel, having an interior surface for receiving a user and an exterior surface with upturned edges to permit the slider creeper to slide along a surface, with the back panel having a pivotal head rest for elevating and supporting a user's head when the user's weight is located on said back panel and a harness for mounting the slider creeper on the user's back.
