  • Patent number: 12008526
Abstract: A computer system processes a digital representation of an illiquid asset, to confirm accuracy of the digital representation and value of the asset, and generates an asset-information table indicating where the various sections of the digital representation are stored. The system also generates an asset-value token, financial-return tokens, and a data structure that includes a self-executing program. The program associates the asset-value token with the financial-return tokens, so that the illiquid asset becomes a collateral for a decentralized loan transaction implemented using blockchain technology. The use of blockchain technology for decentralized loan transactions enables immutable data traceability.

  • Patent number: 11972882
Abstract: A power cable or a hybrid power-data cable includes power conductors and a plurality of continuity wires positioned radially outside of the power conductors. The continuity wires are positioned relative to the power conductors such that a cut in the cable will sever one of the plurality of continuity wires before a cut into the power conductors can occur.

  • Patent number: 10135687
Abstract: A virtual switch connected to at least one virtual machine of multiple virtual machines communicatively connected through an overlay network, receives a data packet, each of the virtual machines configured within a separate one of multiple virtual groups in the overlay network, the data packet comprising a packet header comprising at least one address. The virtual switch receives a virtual group identifier for the at least one address from at least one address resolution service returning the virtual group identifier and a resolved address for the at least one address, in response to an address resolution request for the at least one address. The virtual switch sends the data packet through the virtual switch to the resolved address only if the virtual group identifier is allowed according to a filtering policy applied by the virtual switch for a particular virtual group identified by the virtual group identifier.

  • Publication number: 20090316581
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for dynamic selection and switching of TCP congestion control algorithms over a TCP connection. Exemplary embodiments include a TCP congestion control algorithm management method, including establishing a first TCP connection on a first network having an end point, wherein the TCP connection includes a first TCP congestion control algorithm, monitoring path characteristics of the TCP connection and dynamically selecting and switching to a second TCP congestion control algorithm in a response to a change in the path characteristics of the TCP connection.

  • Publication number: 20090083496
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for managing buffer allocations in a multiple processor computer system. A cache invalidate command is issued in response to a buffer allocation from a remote processor, wherein the cache lines present in the buffer allocation must be invalidated by the remote processor before data can be stored therein. The remote invalidate command specifies multiple cache lines to support invalidation of the specified multiple cache lines in a single communication. Following confirmation of invalidation of the cache lines, the processing to which the buffer has been allocated can write data to the invalidated cache lines.
