Patent number: 11980541Abstract: Cartridges configured to hold anchors and associated locking sutures and a common suture used in an array of anchors. A suture anchor array is connected in series by a single working suture and each of the suture anchors allows tensioning of the working suture between itself and the prior anchor implanted in the serial string. Further, each anchor includes a suture lock having a free tail that can be pulled to lock the working suture in place subsequent to tensioning. This creates an independently tensioned suture bridge between each implanted suture anchor and the just previously implanted anchor. The cartridges are configured to securely hold an individual anchor and store the tail of the suture lock, while allowing flossing of anchors along the common suture.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2022Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: Integrity Orthopaedics, Inc.Inventors: Zak Zenz-Olson, Nathaniel Van Tran, Thomas A. Patent number: 8753655Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the field of membranes. In particular, the present invention relates to a composition comprising bodies surrounded by a membrane. The composition are for example edible compositions. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a composition containing an oily fraction, a hydrophilic fraction, and at least one body, wherein the body comprises a shell comprising several molecular layers of chitosan and at least one lipidic phosphatidic acid surfactant; and a content comprising an internal phase containing a hydrophilic component and/or a hydrophobic component. The Composition may be used to protect a food product or to deliver specific properties to a product, for example.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2011Date of Patent: June 17, 2014Assignee: Nestec S.A.Inventors: Zeynel Deniz Gunes, Matthieu Pouzot, Raffaele Mezzenga, David Labbe

Publication number: 20100312149Abstract: A harness for attachment about a knee femur of a subject, said harness comprising two abutment members, said abutment members being oriented against a skin outer surface at predetermined medial and lateral sites relative to a femur so as not to limit motion of the knee, and a strap operatively interconnecting the two abutment members such that the harness is adapted to be used on different knee sizes with the strap surrounding the knee and with the abutment members being urged against the skin outer surface at the predetermined medial and lateral sites by the strap, at least one of the abutment members supporting at least one femoral trackable member adapted to be tracked. The harness may be used for the pivot shift test.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2008Publication date: December 9, 2010Inventors: Nicola Hagemeister, David Labbe, Jacques De Guise, Rachid Aissaoui
