  • Publication number: 20210134256
Abstract: A system including a method and device for real-time synchronization of MIDI generated sounds with audio program material originating from a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Provided is a real-time feed-forward control system for the generation of sound arising upon the execution of MIDI commands time-synchronized with the playback of audio program material. The system uses one or more audio synchronization tracks to accomplish synchronization. An audio interface device converts the data streams created by the playback of audio program tracks and audio synchronization tracks into electrical audio signals. The proposed MIDI interface device uses the audio synchronization signals output by the audio interface device to strobe or clock out MIDI events waiting on a FIFO buffer inside the device. Finally, the re-synchronized MIDI events are transmitted to the sound generating device in perfect synchronization with the audio program material.

  • Patent number: 10843113
Abstract: A compressor system includes an oil reservoir capable of producing a mixed air/oil flow of fluid via a breather port, as well as a cyclonic separator having an inlet annulus and a tapered section extending from the inlet annulus. The inlet annulus structured to swirl the mixed air/oil flow prior to moving toward a tapered internal section of the separator. A center post is positioned in the tapered internal section and includes a number of discs arranged along a length of the center post. The discs can be separate discs that are stacked upon one another to form the center post. The discs can include a skirt portion and a neck having one or more openings that permit a flow of at least air to enter into a central bore of the center post from the tapered internal section before exiting the separator.

  • Publication number: 20100094664
Abstract: A system and method of identifying warning signs of fraud associated with vehicle insurance transactions is presented. The system and method operate by identifying a vehicle, retrieving vehicle history information about the vehicle and determining if the vehicle history information indicates potential fraud based on factors which show a relationship between said vehicle history information and potential fraud incidents. Inferences related to an insurance claim or quote are made based on the results of the determination.

  • Publication number: 20070204194
Abstract: A digital system and a method for operating the same. The digital system includes (a) a first and a second pins, (b) first and second logic domains, and (c) first and second test pulse generator circuits. The first test pulse generator circuit is electrically coupled to the first pin and the first logic domain. The second test pulse generator circuit is electrically coupled to the second pin and the second logic domain. When a first test signal and N (positive integer) common test enable signals being asserted, the first test pulse generator circuit generates two first test pulses resulting in the first logic domain being tested. When a second test signal and the N common test enable signals being asserted, the second test pulse generator circuit generates two second test pulses resulting in the second logic domain being tested. The first and second pins are connected to a tester.

  • Publication number: 20070155673
Abstract: This invention provides methods for selectively killing a hyperproliferative cell by contacting the cell with the compound BVdU, its derivatives and pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Further provided by this invention is a method for treating a pathology in a subject characterized by pathological, hyperproliferative cells by administering to the subject an effective amount of the compound BVdU, its derivatives and pharmaceutically acceptable salts. The invention also provides a method for screening for potential therapeutic agents by contacting a neoplastic cell with the agent and with BVdU and performing an assay to detect inhibition of proliferation and cell killing. The invention also provides methods for selecting from among a patient population, patients that are likely to benefit from treatment with BVdU, by determining the level of endogenous, intracellular TK and TS.

  • Publication number: 20060284174
Abstract: An arrangement that will provide multiple communication paths for the simultaneously testing of a plurality of un-diced chips on a semiconductor wafer that will simultaneously permit each such communication path to service more than one chip while using a minimum number of tester contacts. These and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention are accomplished in a semiconductor wafer having thereon a number of kerf isolated integrated chips, each of said chips being coupled to at least two different ones of strategically placed administration circuits via two different stimulus buses; each chip being coupled to each administration circuit via selection control circuits laid down in the kerf area between the chips. It is this redundancy that significantly reduces the possibility of failure associated administration or selection control circuits.
