  • Publication number: 20240115781
Abstract: Systems and apparatuses for blood oxygenation are disclosed. A system includes a first layer defining a plurality of banks of first channels each extending in a first direction. The plurality of banks of first channels are configured to receive blood via a trunk channel. The system includes a second layer defining a bank of second channels extending in a second direction. The bank of second channels are configured to receive oxygen. The first direction is different from the second direction. The system includes a membrane disposed between the first layer and the second layer and configured to cause the oxygen to permeate from the second layer to the first layer to oxygenate the blood.

  • Publication number: 20240084585
Abstract: A protective barrier that will typically be installed beneath ceilings during construction work being performed on ceilings or roofs of buildings. The protective barrier can be comprised entirely of one material or of different materials connected by seams. Some or all of these materials can be designed to fail when contacted by water via dissolution, melting or through some other destructive process initiated by contact with water. Some or all of the materials comprising the protective barrier can be designed to fail at a certain temperature. This failure can create access points from the ceiling through the protective barrier to the area being protected by the barrier, which can allow water from a fire suppression system to reach a fire located below the protective barrier.

  • Publication number: 20240080158
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for transmitting data signaling via a first set of subcarriers (e.g., data subcarriers) at a same transmit power as PTRS transmissions via a second set of subcarriers (e.g., PTRS subcarriers) via a first transmission layer. Additionally, the described techniques provide for transmitting data signaling via the first set of subcarriers and the second set of subcarriers via a second transmission layer. That is, a wireless device may transmit data signaling via the second transmission layer at subcarriers used for PTRS transmissions via the first transmission layer while maintaining an average energy across the first transmission layer and the second transmission layer. In some examples, a receiving device may estimate the phase noise error for each transmission layer using one or more PTRS transmissions or using signaling from each transmission layer.

  • Patent number: 11698526
Abstract: A multi channel beamsplitter system operating over a wide spectral band has high optical performance despite the fact that the incoming and/or exiting light is not collimated and its material is dispersive. This is achieved using wavefront compensators that are matched to the curvature of the wavefronts of the incoming and/or exiting light.

  • Patent number: 11392805
Abstract: A potentially small, gimballed, multi-sensor system employs a shared aperture for at least some of the image sensors. Applications include intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR), and guiding autonomous vehicles. The system can actively blend images from multiple spectral bands for clarity and interpretability, provide remote identification of objects and material, provide anomaly detection, control lasers and opto-mechanics for image quality, and use shared aperture using folded optics.

  • Publication number: 20200284053
Abstract: The present protective barrier is similar to those commonly installed beneath ceilings during construction work being performed on ceilings or roofs of buildings, wherein two or more sections are sewn together to construct the protective barrier. However, the present protective barrier also comprises a dustcover, which covers the seam entirely preventing dust from passing through holes created when the seam is sewn using a thread or similar means.

  • Patent number: 10705783
Abstract: Real-time interactions made by a client on a whiteboard are shown on remote client(s) currently viewing the whiteboard. The real-time interactions that are shown on the remote clients can include a variety of different interactions. For example, the location(s) of where a remote client is touching the whiteboard or interacting with the whiteboard using a stylus may be viewed. A current inking stroke of a remote user may also be viewed as it is occurring. Interactions on the whiteboard may be shown differently depending on the remote user performing the interaction. The whiteboard may also show a location on the whiteboard where each of the remote users are currently viewing. A user may also track the actions of another user. When a change is committed to the whiteboard, the remote clients update the display to reflect the committed state.

  • Publication number: 20200101333
Abstract: Protective barriers are commonly installed beneath ceilings when construction work is performed either on these ceilings or on the roofs located above them. These protective barriers can be comprised entirely of one material or of different materials connected by seams. Some or all of these materials can be designed to fail when subjected to temperatures above a certain temperature range causing melting or some other destructive process to occur to these materials. These failures can create access points from the ceiling through the protective barrier to areas below being protected by the barrier, which can allow water from a fire suppression system, typically located near the ceiling, to reach a fire located below the protective barrier.
