  • Publication number: 20260035356
Abstract: Bifunctional compounds, which find utility as modulators of non-receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2), are described herein. In particular, the bifunctional compounds of the present disclosure contain on one end a moiety that binds to the cereblon E3 ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety which binds TYK2, such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of target protein. The bifunctional compounds of the present disclosure exhibit a broad range of pharmacological activities associated with degradation/inhibition of target protein. Diseases or disorders that result from aberrant regulation of the target protein are treated or prevented with compounds and compositions of the present disclosure.

  • Publication number: 20240043506
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to isolated or recombinant antigen binding proteins, such as antibodies, which bind to coronavirus spike (S) protein receptor binding domain (RBD), including S protein RBD from severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The present disclosure is also directed to the use of the isolated or recombinant proteins as therapeutic, prophylactic and/or diagnostic agents for respiratory conditions associated with coronavirus infection, such as infection by SARS-CoV-2. The present disclosure is also related to nucleic acid sequences which encode said antigen binding proteins and their expression in recombinant host cells.

  • Publication number: 20190277214
Abstract: A system and/or method for a boosted non-linear coil includes an ignition coil including a first primary winding, a second primary winding and a secondary winding. A control circuit connects with the ignition coil, the control circuit including a logic device, a first switch connected with the logic device and the first primary winding and a second switch connected with the logic device and the second primary winding. • Publication number: 20190133832
Abstract: An absorbent, self-adhesive nipple cover for absorbing fluids from a lactating woman's nipple while concealing the nipple and areola in such a way so as to flatter the appearance of the woman's breast for intimate wear or to disguise that the woman is nursing. The inner layer, facing the woman's breast, is comprised of two sections: a central section made of absorbent material, and a perimeter section made of one or more adhesive appendages that secure the nipple cover completely to the woman's breast. The outer layer, facing away from the woman's breast, is comprised of protective aesthetic material to prevent fluids from leaking through the absorbent material onto clothes or other materials that may come into contact with the nipple cover, and to promote the appearance of the woman's breasts while concealing the nipple and areola.

  • Patent number: 7411960
Abstract: A method and apparatus retrieves and stores configuration information for network endpoint devices from other devices in the network, such as a switch adjacent to the endpoint device. When the endpoint device establishes a connection with the network, it generates a sequence of SNMP getnext commands using the ILMI interface to obtain the configuration information from the network device. If the network device sends a trap to the endpoint device indicating a change has been made to the configuration parameters stored in the network device for a PVC, a series of SNMP getrequest commands are made using the ILMI interface to retrieve the configuration information for that PVC from the network device. If the endpoint device detects an interruption in communication with the network device, the endpoint device discards the information retrieved previously.

  • Patent number: 7366189
Abstract: A method and apparatus associates a domain name of a home gateway with one or more PVCs. After the PVC is established, a tunneling protocol is used to request the domain name of the home gateway, and the domain name is associated with the PVC. When a user logs on via an access communication device, the user will provide a domain name of a home gateway with which the user desires to communicate. A PVC associated with the home gateway is then used to allow the user to communicate with the home gateway. The domain name of the home gateway may be periodically verified to detect any changes.

  • Patent number: 6909697
Abstract: A method and apparatus negotiates a maximum frame size to be used over a frame relay network. A local maximum frame size is identified by a first endpoint device of a frame relay network so that other frames sent and received using that size will not cause other frames sent by the network device to be sent a period of time exceeding an acceptable delay after the other frames are received. The acceptable delay is the lowest acceptable delay among originators and recipients of frames that use the endpoint device. The frame size identified is transmitted to other endpoint devices that can communicate with the first endpoint device. These other endpoint devices identify acceptable delays that correspond to the originators and recipients of such endpoint devices.

  • Patent number: 6446122
Abstract: A method and apparatus allows a switch or other network equipment device to provide Quality of Service information to a router or other user equipment devices using a management interface such as frame relay LMI. The switch and router negotiate the version of the management interface that has the capabilities of the present invention. The router can then request Quality of Service parameters from the switch. The switch provides the parameters and the router can use them to route information via the switch. If the parameters are changed in the switch or other changes occur, the switch notifies the router and the router can then request updated parameters from the switch.

  • Patent number: 6399581
Abstract: The subject invention concerns eryloside F, a novel disaccharide of the steroidal carboxylic acid penasterol. This compound can be isolated from an extract of the marine sponge Erylus formosus. The compound is a potent thrombin receptor antagonist and, furthermore, inhibits human platelet aggregation. Longer chain penasterol oligosaccharides were also isolated and characterized but these had weaker activity than eryloside F. The subject invention also concerns methods for inhibiting thrombin receptor activity and methods for inhibiting platelet aggregation through the administration of eryloside F, or a salt, derivative or analog thereof.
