  • Publication number: 20230344271
Abstract: A device for facilitating harnessing terahertz electromagnetic waves for energy generation. The device comprises a transceiver, a rectifier, and a timing device. Further, the transceiver is comprised of a composite material and configured for receiving electromagnetic waves having wave energy and frequencies in a terahertz frequency range transmitted wirelessly from a first device. The transceiver comprises an antenna comprised of a superconducting material and is configured for capturing the electromagnetic waves. The receiving of the electromagnetic waves is based on the capturing. Further, the rectifier is configured for converting the electromagnetic waves into electrical energy that is transferable to a second device electromagnetically coupled with the device. The timing device is synchronized with a first timing device of the first device and configured for generating a receiving signal based on synchronizing with the first timing device.

  • Patent number: 11735960
Abstract: A system for facilitating wireless energy transmissions. The system comprises a ground station and a space station. The ground station is positioned in a location on the earth. The ground station comprises a transmitter device. The space station is positioned in an orbit around the earth. The space station comprises a primary receiver device and a primary transmitter device. The primary receiver device comprises a receiver transceiver. The transmitter device transmits terahertz electromagnetic wave energy wirelessly to the receiver transceiver. The receiver transceiver receives the energy wirelessly from the transmitter. The receiver transceiver comprises a receiver enclosure comprised of a metamaterial. The receiver enclosure converts the terahertz electromagnetic wave energy into electrical energy based on the receiving. The receiver enclosure comprises a receiver antenna comprised of superconducting material and facilitates the receiving.

  • Patent number: 7097561
Abstract: A gaming apparatus may include a cabinet having a front face, a gaming display supported inside the cabinet and positioned adjacent the cabinet front face, the gaming display being operable to generate images and a controller operatively coupled to the gaming display. The controller may comprise a processor and a memory operatively coupled to the processor. The controller may be programmed to allow a person to make a wager, cause an image associated with a game to be generated on the gaming display, to determine an outcome of the game represented by the image and to determine a value payout associated with the outcome of the game. The controller also may be programmed to display on the gaming display a plurality of display elements which change from displaying cards to displaying portions of a first display object wherein the portions of the first display object create an identifiable image.
