    Abstract: Novel composition comprising in combination a 1,2-dialkyl-3,5-diphenylpyrazolium salt and an acetylenic glycol safener, and a method of utilizing said composition for the selective postemergence control of wild oats in spring wheat, whereby the said safener minimizes the phytotoxic damage frequently caused by said 1,2-dialkyl-3,5-diphenylpyrazolium salt.
