  • Patent number: 11751005
Abstract: Augmented reality is used to display graphical elements overlaid on a continually updating image of an area around an augmented reality device (e.g., a mobile device). The graphical element may contain geographical location information about a grave of an ancestor and/or biographical information about the ancestor. The continually updating image is captured by a camera of the augmented reality device and updates in response to time and motion of the augmented reality device. Based on orientation data and geographical location data collected by the augmented reality device, the graphical element is updated and displayed on the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20060271222
Abstract: A computerized system is provided for scheduling a plurality of work orders in a manufacturing process. Each work order to be scheduled specifies a set of operations to be performed using a plurality of resources and materials. Data including resource availability information for each resource used in the manufacturing process, material availability information for each material used in the manufacturing process, and work order information is received and stored in a computer. The work order information includes a release date for the work order, a want date for the work order, operations information, and material requirements information. The operations information includes the identity and sequence of operations to be performed for the work order, the identity of the resources needed to perform each operation, a minimum resource capacity needed to perform each operation, and the time needed to perform the operation.

  • Publication number: 20050167202
Abstract: A mechanical device and system to expedite the check-out process, comprising a rail mounted vertically suspended partition panel 1, to separate orders at the check-out counter and a medium for advertising various products and services on said panel. Vertical movement of the partition panel 1 is facilitated by way of the panel hinge 4, connected to the turret 5 which affords lateral mobility to said panel 1. The turret base 6 houses bearings to facilitate movement along the travel rail 7 with end stops 9 preventing said turret base 6 from advancing beyond said travel rail's 7 linear limitations. The partition panel hatch 2 provides easy access for the mounting of commercial display materials on either side of the partition panel 1, which are held securely in place by the partition panel frame 3. Stability is maintained by attaching the entire system to the inside railing of the checkout counter 8 by way of the travel rail 7.
