    Abstract: A convertible fur piece is disclosed which consists of an elongated strip of fur having hook and loop connecting strips secured to its opposed longitudinal edges which enable the strip of fur to be folded in half with its edges secured together to form an elongated hollow tube which receives a shoulder bag strap, or the like, to form a decorative element for the shoulder bag strap and a protective guard to reduce wear resulting from rubbing of the shoulder bag strap against the fur coat. Additionally, the ends of the fur strip have additional hook and loop connecting strips respectively secured thereto enable the fur strip to also serve as a head band.

    Abstract: A clothing lock or security device having a base or block from which a flexible cable extends. The cable has a free end which is formed as a stiff metal pin with a catch recess formed therein for forming the shaft of the lock in the base. This lock can be placed in a fur coat or other garment, with the needle portion piercing the garment and then being wrapped around a pole or the like, and then repiercing the garment for engagement in the block. This block is used in conjunction with a double bar coat rack having a plurality of inverted T-shaped sections extending downwardly from the top rack. The inverted T-shaped sections are movable between an open position wherein the garment secured by the clothing lock may be inserted onto and removed from a horizontal support rack formed therein, and a closed position, wherein the garments are secured along the horizontal bottom rack.

    Abstract: A clothing article is disclosed which comprises a garment having interconnected shoulders, back and front sides adapted to cover the body of a wearer. The front sides of the garment have separate front edges including a facing portion folded over the front edges to the interior of the garment. The front sides and back define a continuous bottom edge for the garment with the back having a vent formed therein extending from the bottom edge part way up the back. The facing along the front edges of the garment includes a selectively openable flap portion extending upwardly a predetermined distance from the bottom edge of the garment and means are provided for selectively securing the flap portion of the facing in a first position to the inside of the front edges of the garment to form a coat and other means are provided for selectively securing the flaps in a second position to the inside of the back of the garment adjacent the vent to form a culotte.
