Abstract: Techniques for performing multi-stage entity resolution (ER) processing are described. A system may determine a portion of a user input corresponding to an entity name, and may request an entity provider component to perform a search to determine one or more entities corresponding to the entity name. The preliminary search results may be sent to a skill selection component for processing, while the entity provider component performs a complete search to determine entities corresponding to the entity name. A selected skill component may request the complete search results to perform its processing, including determining an output responsive to the user input.

Abstract: In certain instances, a data management application (software application) that manages moving data files, and the like, from a primary high-speed storage system. An end-user can configure the data management application for particular files via management policies. Based on the management policies, after a file is migrated from the primary storage system to a targeted secondary storage system, a breadcrumb pointing to a webpage for the migrated file is left behind in the primary storage system. The webpage can be used to manage the migrated file, such as moving the migrated file back to the primary storage system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for reporting account and sensor configuration information to a central system are disclosed. A security, monitoring, and automation (SMA) system may operate one or more sensors according to sensor configuration information. The sensor configuration information may be used by a remote monitoring system to send notification messages based on sensor events from the SMA system. The sensor configuration information may be transmitted to the remote monitoring system via another remote computing system. The computing system may format the sensor configuration information to a format compatible with the remote monitoring system and transmit the formatted sensor configuration information to the remote monitoring system.

Abstract: A single platform for controller functionality for each of security, monitoring and automation, as well as providing a capacity to function as a bidirectional Internet gateway, is provided. Embodiments of the present invention provide such functionality by virtue of a configurable architecture that enables a user to adapt the system for the user's specific needs. Embodiments of the present invention further provide for remote access to the configurable controller, thereby providing for remote monitoring of the state of a dwelling and for remote control of home automation. Embodiments of the present invention further provide for reporting to a provider those sensors and other hardware used by the configurable architecture, enabling the provider to track inventory of such items.

Abstract: A circuit connector for a humidification system, the system comprising a base unit configured to be engaged by a humidification chamber. The cartridge can include various sensors, probes, sensor wire connectors, heater wire connectors, and/or other features. The cartridge can include features configured to mate with corresponding features on the humidification chamber and the heater base. The cartridge includes a memory, such as an EEPROM, or other suitable storage device. When the cartridge is installed on the heater base, the memory is electrically connected to a processor and/or memory of the heater base. Various models of cartridges can be produced for use with different humidification chambers, breathing circuits, and/or therapies. A connector can be configured to couple an inspiratory conduit to an outlet port of the humidification chamber. The connector can provide a pneumatic connection to the outlet port and an electrical connection to the cartridge.

Abstract: A protective film press using commercially available anti-graffiti film for the production of a multi-layer protective film. The invention provides a relatively simple and economical manufacturing device and method to produce a multi-layer protective film which has historically required expensive and complex methods and equipment. The protective film press comprising a frame chassis, a plurality of mounting assemblies detachably attached to the frame chassis, first and second motorized pull roller assemblies repositionably mounted on the frame chassis, a pair of pressure rollers that pneumatically press the anti-graffiti films into a vertically stacked multi-layer configuration, and at least one alignment roller repositionably mounted on the frame chassis. A preferred embodiment of present invention also includes means for controlling the speed at which the first and second motorized pull roller assemblies operate and also a means for providing pressure for the pair of pressure rollers.

A security, monitoring, and automation (SMA) system may operate one or more sensors according to sensor configuration information. The sensor configuration information may be used by a remote monitoring system to send notification messages based on sensor events from the SMA system. The computing system may format the sensor configuration information to a format compatible with the remote monitoring system and transmit the formatted sensor configuration information to the remote monitoring system.

Abstract: One purpose of the an embodiment basket is to increase the capacity for long-stemmed hay in automated individual intake units. The inventive hay basket is a removable addition to an automated feeding system bunk that effectively triples the hay capacity as compared with the commercially available system alone. According to one embodiment, the hay basket includes a rotatable swing gate that can be used to control the amount of access an animal has to hay in the basket. Without the hay basket addition, accurate hay intake collection would not be possible on a useful number of animals. The inventive hay basket reduces waste and increases the carrying capacity of the dry lot pen.
