  • Patent number: 12537222
Abstract: An electrochemical cell includes a casing that: includes a lower first element in the form of a vessel, the internal surface of which is at least partially covered by a layer of conductive material so as to form the current collector of the first electrode with a first polarity; includes an upper second element in the form of a cover for closing the vessel; houses a three-dimensional electrode structure with a first electric polarity; houses a three-dimensional electrode structure with a second electric polarity opposite to the first electric polarity; and contains an electrolyte as an ionic conductive medium. The three-dimensional electrode structure with the second electric polarity includes a series of electrodes with a second polarity, each of which is an elongated body with a vertical orientation.

  • Patent number: 12431557
Abstract: A battery pack of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle, which is constituted by an upper casing and a lower casing, is provided with a cooling circuit which enables circulation in the pack of a cooling fluid which is intended to be sprayed onto battery modules by spray nozzles. The cooling circuit is suitable for ensuring circulation of the cooling fluid in a closed circuit inside the pack, with a pump which is arranged in the internal vessel of the pack being capable of recirculating, back to the spray nozzles, the cooling fluid which is sprayed onto the modules and collected in a double base arranged under a base wall of the lower casing by discharge openings which are formed in the base wall of the lower casing.

  • Publication number: 20250279463
Abstract: An electrochemical cell for an electrical energy storage device, in particular intended for a motor vehicle, comprising a plurality of electrodes (3) and a compression device (4) adapted to the variations in volume of the plurality of electrodes (3), the compression device (4) comprising a casing (5) and an at least partially elastically deformable return element (6) allowing the constant exertion of a suitable compression on the plurality of electrodes (3) in order to keep the various elements thereof in contact with one another and thus allow more homogeneous operation of the cell.

  • Publication number: 20250007062
Abstract: A system applies a variable pressure to an electric battery including at least one electrochemical cell inserted between a first end plate and a second end plate which are parallel to one another. The system includes a first assembly including a first actuating wall, at least a first spring inserted between the first actuating wall and the first end plate, a link extending parallel to the first actuating wall and moved by an actuator. The link is connected to the first actuating wall by at least one cam, a first end of which is rotatably mounted on the link, and a second end of which is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation rigidly connected to a stationary wall. The second end bears against the first actuating wall.

  • Publication number: 20230402643
Abstract: A structural electrochemical storage assembly for a motor vehicle includes an electrochemical energy storage device including at least a group of two banks of solid electrochemical storage elements, the banks being superposed on top of one another, and at least one piece made of compressible material, which is positioned and compressed between the at least two superposed banks of electrochemical storage elements, and a beam including two profile sections hollowed out and open on one of their faces and assembled with one another via their respective open face and along their respective edges, the profile sections containing the device of the at least two superposed banks of electrochemical storage elements, and the two profiled elements being dimensioned and assembled so as to keep the piece of compressible material that is positioned between the two superposed electrochemical banks compressed.
