  • Publication number: 20240170702
Abstract: A redox device of a metal-air flow battery includes a container, a rod inserted into and electrically insulated from the container, a net connected to and surrounding the rod, a power supply, and an ultrasonic module. The container, the rod, and the net are electrically conductive, respectively. The net moves away from the rod gradually in a spiral manner. The container receives an electrolyte solution containing a product originated from the metal-air flow battery. The net is immersed in the electrolyte solution. The power supply is electrically connected to the container, the rod, and the net to form an electric loop via the electrolyte solution. The power supply provides a pulse current to the electric loop to electrochemically deposit metal from the electrolyte solution on the net. The ultrasonic module provides vibrations to the container to shake off metal from the net and suspend the metal in the electrolyte solution.

  • Patent number: 11982586
Abstract: A method is provided for collecting measurement parameters related to imbalance forces of a tire/hub assembly of a vehicle during motion of the vehicle. An apparatus is removably attached to the tire/hub assembly of the vehicle via lug nuts of the tire/hub assembly. The apparatus includes a disk, a plurality of cup-shaped objects, and one or more inertial measurement units (IMU's) mounted to the disk. Each of the cup-shaped objects are rigidly fixed at one end to the disk and extend perpendicularly outward from the disk. The plurality of cup-shaped objects are arranged a fixed radial distance from a radial center of the disk in a pattern that matches the lug nuts of the tire/hub assembly. The one or more inertial measurement units (IMU's) are mounted to the disk and configured to measure parameters that are used for calculating the imbalance forces during motion of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240145746
Abstract: A metal fuel flow battery management system includes a scattering module configured to receive an air and a fuel; a cell module producing an oxidation reaction between the cell module and the fuel flowing into the cell module to output discharge; a first fuel storage module configured to receive a liquid from the cell module and reduce an oxidized fuel in the liquid from the cell module by charging; a second fuel storage module configured to receive a liquid from the first fuel storage module and deliver the liquid to the scattering module; a plurality of connection channels, and a controller controlling a discharge power of the cell module by controlling flow rates of the air and the fuel. The fuel is sequentially circulated between the scattering module, the cell module, the first fuel storage module, and the second fuel storage module.

  • Publication number: 20240088423
Abstract: A fuel cell device includes a top board, a scattering board, a bottom board, and electrode modules. The top board includes a fuel entry hole, air access holes, and a fuel splitting part. The scattering board includes top air holes, bottom air holes, and slotted holes. The fuel splitting part splits a fuel to different slotted holes. The bottom board includes first slots. The electrode modules are detachably inserted in the first slots. An air space is provided in each of the electrode modules, and a fuel space is formed between any two adjacent electrode modules. The fuel entry hole, the fuel splitting part, the slotted holes, and the fuel space communicate to form a fuel channel. The air access holes, the top air holes, the bottom air holes, and the air space communicate to form an air channel, and the air channel is airtight to the fuel channel.

  • Patent number: 8725770
Abstract: A flexible and extensible architecture allows for secure searching across an enterprise. Such an architecture can provide a simple Internet-like search experience to users searching secure content inside (and outside) the enterprise. The architecture allows for the crawling and searching of a variety or of sources across an enterprise, regardless of whether any of these sources conform to a conventional user role model. The architecture further allows for security attributes to be submitted at query time, for example, in order to provide real-time secure access to enterprise resources. The user query also can be transformed to provide for dynamic querying that provides for a more current result list than can be obtained for static queries.

  • Patent number: 5465143
Abstract: An OTDR to examine light reflected from an optic fibre has an amplification stage that operates in either a high gain or low gain mode. To avoid saturation of the amplifier in the high gain mode, the trace is examined to identify the location of spikes and a switch is controlled to connect the amplifier to the signal after the occurrence of the spike.
