  • Publication number: 20230375276
Abstract: A heat exchanger comprises a plurality of cells formed by a stack of alternate planar flow-guide plates (1) and heat transfer plates (2), each heat transfer plate having at least three apertures (3, 4, 6) therethrough, each aperture defining a part of a respective one of at least three fluid flow paths in the heat exchanger. Each flow-guide plate has apertures therethrough corresponding to at least two of the flow paths and a larger aperture (5, 7, 8) therethrough configured to guide fluid in the remaining flow path across the face of the heat transfer plates between which the flow-guide plate is located, each successive flow-guide plate in the stack forming part of a different flow path from the preceding one in the stack.

  • Patent number: 9407575
Abstract: In a telecommunications network including a core network component and first and second telecommunications devices, with the second telecommunications device being associated with a SIM which is not directly routable in the telecommunications network in regard to communications with the first telecommunication device, a method of transmitting a communication between the first device and the second device including: the core network component receiving a communication from or for the second device via a data bearer; and configuring the core network component, to encapsulate the received communication and forward the encapsulated communication to a management server external to the telecommunications network so as to obtain appropriate routing data and/or routing authorization for the communication.

  • Patent number: 8630672
Abstract: In a mobile telecommunications network, a mobile terminal is prevented from communicating at a level that would introduce an unacceptable level of interference at a neighboring base station by introducing a received signal threshold criteria at its base station that can adapt to the variation in signal levels at its base station and its neighbors.

  • Patent number: 8351960
Abstract: In a mobile telecommunications network including a micro base station, a method of controlling the micro base station includes: determining one or more registered users of the micro base station; determining a location of the one or more registered users; and causing the micro base station to transition between a first operational mode and a second operational mode depending upon the location of at least one of the one or more registered users.

  • Publication number: 20120077533
Abstract: A method and network device for managing resource allocation in at least one network device of a plurality of network devices in a mobile telecommunications network including the steps of: determining at least one energy dependent parameter in relation to each of the at least one network devices; and using the at least one determined energy-dependent parameter to make a resource allocation determination.
