  • Patent number: 11924591
Abstract: A fiber port management system that can be connected between network devices and network appliances is provided. The fiber port management system includes a housing, one or more hydra cables within the housing, one or more indicators and a controller. The housing has a front panel with a plurality of low density fiber connectors and a rear panel with a plurality of high density fiber connectors. The hydra cable is positioned within the housing and connects one of the plurality of high density fiber connectors to two or more of the plurality of low density fiber connectors. The one or more indicators are associated with each of the plurality of low density fiber connectors and each of the plurality of high density fiber connectors. The controller is located within the housing and is used to control the operation of the indicators.

  • Publication number: 20220239635
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method receives a packet at an instance of a distributed firewall associated with one of a plurality of workloads running on a hypervisor. Each of the plurality of workloads has an associated instance of the distributed firewall. An index table is accessed for the workload where the index table includes a set of references to a set of rules in a rules table. Each workload in the plurality of workloads is associated with an index table that references rules that are applicable to each respective workload. The method then accesses at least one rule in a set of rules associated with the set of references from the rules table and compares one or more attributes for the packet to information stored for the at least one rule in the set of rules to determine a rule in the set of rules to apply to the packet.

  • Publication number: 20060193114
Abstract: A computer system is described of the kind having a frame and a plurality of server unit subassemblies that are insertable into the frame. Each server unit subassembly has a chassis component which engages with a frame component on the frame. Heat can transfer from the chassis component to the frame component, but the server unit subassembly can still be moved out of the frame. In one embodiment, an air duct is located over a plurality of the frame components. Heat transfers from the frame components to air flowing through the duct. A modified capillary pumped loop is used to transfer heat from a processor of the server unit subassembly to thermal components on the frame.

  • Publication number: 20050197734
Abstract: A CNC machine for automatically re-indexing and machining multiple faces of a workpiece includes a traditional three-axis CNC machine and a gripper tool. A bar stock defining a first and at least a second workpiece is loaded within a first and a second vice on the table such that the first workpiece is disposed within the first vice and at least a portion of the second workpiece is disposed within the first and the second workpiece. The CNC machine machines the first face of the workpiece within the first vice. Next, the CNC machine grasps the first workpiece using the gripper tool removably disposed within the spindle. The first workpiece is re-indexed and is loaded into a third vice disposed on the table and the next face of the first workpiece is machined. A support rack is preferably used to support a portion of the bar stock overhanging the table.
