    Abstract: An aircraft includes two rotors for rotation about a non-rotating rotor mast. The rotors are driven by permanent and/or electromagnets positioned on each of the rotors. A rotor mast joint connecting the rotor mast to a fuselage or wing of the aircraft permits the rotor mast to tilt relative to the fuselage or wing in at least one plane.
