  • Patent number: 12491525
Abstract: A pipe for the aeraulic transport of a loose-fill insulation product for a machine for blowing the insulating product, the pipe extending along a longitudinal main elongation direction and including at least one cylindrical wall which delimits a space configured for the circulation at least of the loose-fill insulating product, wherein, in the pipe, the cylindrical wall includes a plurality of sections, at least two of the sections each including at least one evacuation orifice so as to form at least two perforated sections, the pipe including at least two shutoff devices that are movable in translation along the longitudinal direction about the cylindrical wall, each of the shutoff devices being able to cover specifically one of the perforated sections.

  • Patent number: 12442201
Abstract: A device for preparing an insulation product based on wool, includes a chamber including an inlet opening through which a stream of carrier gas and a wool in the form of nodules or flakes are introduced, at least one system for generating a turbulent gas flow in the chamber, and an outlet opening through which flakes mixed with an outlet gas stream are expelled, wherein the device also includes at least one deflector element arranged in the chamber, creating a disruption that aerates the wool in the form of nodules or flakes.

  • Publication number: 20240209641
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to loose fill insulation installation systems. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a connection module for a loose fill insulation hose. The connection module includes a tubular body extending along an axis and having an exterior side and an interior side that surrounds a path for conveying loose fill insulation. The connection module also includes a plurality of roughening structures coupled to the interior side of the tubular body so as to form a rough interior surface of the connection module. Each of the roughening structures includes at least one protrusion that extends transverse to the axis of the tubular body. The roughening structures form more than 400 protrusions that extend into the path of the loose fill insulation.

  • Publication number: 20230330689
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to loose fill insulation installation systems, for example, suitable for installing loose fill insulation to an installation site. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a loose fill insulation hose including a plurality of tubular sections coupled together so as to form a conduit configured to convey loose fill insulation along a path from a blowing machine to an installation site. The tubular sections include a first hose section, a first connector section, and a second connector section. The first hose section includes a flexible body that forms an opening with a first cross-sectional area. The first connector section includes a plurality of projections that extend inward. The second connector section includes a constricted opening with a second cross-sectional area that is no more than 50% of the first cross-sectional area.
