  • Patent number: 12187429
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an insert that includes a locking mechanism that may either be formed integrally to the component or attached separately to the insert body. The top of the locking mechanism is offset from the first surface by an offset distance to enable the insert to be coupled to a recess of a component such as an aircraft component. An aperture formed in a top surface of the first portion is configured to allow additional elements to be coupled to the aircraft component. The coupling of the insert to the aircraft component is further promoted by a compression mechanism that forces the locking mechanism to couple to an overhang portion of the top layer after the force applied to the insert once it is positioned in the recess is removed, such that the top surface of the insert is co-planar with an outermost surface of the aircraft component.

  • Patent number: 11269944
Abstract: A system and method for targeted gaming news and media feeds is provided. Information about an interaction by a user with an interactive content title and a plurality of interactive content titles may be stored in memory. A processor executes instructions stored in memory, wherein execution of the instructions by the processor analyzes the information stored in memory regarding interaction by a user with an interactive content title and identifies one or more keywords that characterize the user interaction with the interactive content title. Media stored in a database may be filtered based on the identified keywords and displayed within a targeted media feed on a user device of the user. The displayed targeted media may be updated based on new information regarding user interaction with the interactive content title.

  • Patent number: 10691367
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of information lifecycle management is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes reading, by a data processing system of a storage environment, business rules and policies for managing data in storage volumes of the storage environment, the policies being based on the predetermined business rules, and analyzing, by the data processing system, available storage and capacity in the storage environment. The computer-implemented method further includes dynamically prioritizing, by the data processing system, the policies based, at least in part, on results of the analyzing, resulting in prioritized policies, cognitively translating, by the data processing system, one or more of the predetermined business rules into action(s) against one or more of the storage volumes based, at least in part, on the prioritized policies, and executing, by the data processing system, the action(s).

  • Publication number: 20150224792
Abstract: A device can include a button which when pressed outputs a label that indicates the current date and time, an expiration date, and an identifier of an individual. The label can then be placed on a multidose container so that the multidose container is labeled in accordance with applicable regulations. Accordingly, the required record for labeling a multidose container can be created with a simple press of a button thereby increasing the likelihood that a clinician will adequately label multidose containers. The device can also be used to create labels for other types of containers when a button is pressed.

  • Patent number: 9103078
Abstract: An improved screed plate having a top surface, a bottom surface, a curved leading edge and a trailing edge adapted for attaching to a screed of a paving machine is disclosed. The improved screed plate comprises a tapered groove extended from the curved leading edge towards the trailing edge along the top surface and terminated in a groove end. The tapered groove is arranged deepest at the curved leading edge and shallowest toward the trailing edge so as to provide flexibility to the screed plate while not reducing screed plate lifetime due to increased wear and tear. The increased screed plate flexibility facilitates crowning and other adjustments that require bending of the screed plate, and allow harder steels to be used than are used in conventional screed plates.

  • Publication number: 20150203216
Abstract: A system and method for providing remote access to an on-board aircraft system provides establishing communication between an aircraft server that is located within the aircraft and a remote computer that is located outside of the aircraft. In the aircraft, a request is received to establish a remote session between the remote computer and the aircraft server. A passcode is generated in the aircraft, and is transmitted from a first communication device that is collocated with the aircraft to a second communication device that is collocated with the remote computer. The passcode is then transmitted from the remote computer to the aircraft server and, upon receipt of the passcode by the aircraft server, the remote computer is provided with remote access to the on-board aircraft system.

  • Patent number: 8880994
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product allow a user to annotate and manipulate a plurality of electronic documents. The user loads a first electronic document comprising electronic content, which content may be annotated or otherwise manipulated by the user and which annotations are made using a user-defined indication means. The annotated content is outputted to a second electronic document, wherein the content is automatically organized into a corresponding grouping defined by a user-selected identifying aspect. The user may subsequently reorganize any of the outputted annotations within the second electronic document. The method, system, and computer program product further utilize a file browser within which a plurality of electronic documents may be organized and maintained by the user and a client-server protocol for communicating data between a remote database and a local storage medium.
