  • Patent number: 11643347
Abstract: An aeration diffuser system includes an air inlet conduit defining an orifice, an air plenum coupled to the air inlet conduit at the orifice, such that the air plenum and the air inlet conduit are in fluid communication, a diffuser secured to a top of the air plenum, and a plurality of pressure transducers including a first pressure transducer at least partially located inside the air inlet conduit, and a second pressure transducer at least partially located inside the air plenum.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: May 9, 2023
Assignee: Xylem Water Solutions U.S.A., Inc.
Inventors: David Lynn Phillips, Jeffrey Daniel Lopes, Don Jones
  • Patent number: 11135785
Abstract: A method for placing a piece of composite material onto a substrate. The piece of composite material is placed on the substrate with using an end effector. The piece of composite material is held against the substrate using the end effector. The piece of the composite material is compacted against the substrate while also holding the piece of composite material against the substrate using the end effector.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 15, 2019
Date of Patent: October 5, 2021
    Assignee: The Boeing Company

  • Publication number: 20020131866
Abstract: Apparatus and method to provide run-dry protection to semi-positive and positive displacement pumps is disclosed, including a resettable fuse placed in line with the motor of said pump to interrupt the supply of electrical power to the pump in response to sensing a run-dry condition. The resettable fuse prohibits pump operation until manual resetting, which occurs only upon interrooting and re-applying electrical power to the resettable fuse.
