  • Patent number: 9850030
Abstract: A parallelogram shaped box with side walls formed by parallel, generally rectangular bar members has a plurality of grommets inserted into the side walls between the bar members. Each grommet is trapped between adjacent bar members by clamping of adjacent bar members. Each grommet has a thickness greater than the thickness of the bar members and has a boss in the grommet with a pin retainer in the grommet, such as a straight hole. A pin placed in the pin retainer can support a decorative article so that external sides of the box can be decorated.

  • Patent number: 4664282
Abstract: A structure for holding plants, flowers or other objects utilizes a plurality of generally rectangular bar members having a hole at each end, the generally rectangular bar members being stacked in alternate directions in a rectilinear array, the holes proximate the ends of the bars aligned with like holes in the ends of other of said bars, with a set of assembly rods each engaging the aligned holes to define a rectilinear structure, hinged at each corner. A tray having a rectilinear shape, such as, a rectangle or parallelogram (diamond) is adapted to be inserted between a selected layer of assembled bars and engage opposite pairs of the rectangular bar members to maintaining the sides of the rectilinear stacked array at a predetermined angle to each other in the general shape of the tray.

  • Patent number: 4529160
Abstract: Three or more vertical posts or decorative support members are connected to the ends of three or more articulable, serially connected linkage members by a base support pin or member proximate the bottom end of each of the vertical posts through the holes in the ends of the linkage members. The linkage members are disposed parallel to the supporting surface having their free and overlapping ends connected between the bottom end of the vertical post and the base support pin. The vertical posts are each provided with a receptacle for holding a decorative or utilitarian object proximate the top thereof. The vertical posts can be of various lengths to achieve a variety of decorative effects. The linkage members are arranged at an angle to each other to provide 3 or more points of support for the assembled structure.
