  • Patent number: 11951505
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a system and method for dispensing a floor coating in a specified ratio of multiple components is disclosed. The system and method may set and maintain a desired ratio of the multiple components by controlling, with a controller, a drive rate of respective pumps configured for propelling the components from a reservoir to a mixer or a dispenser. The controller may be responsive to at least one of a measured actual drive rate, an environmental condition, an actual usage of each component, and an operational parameter of the system, for adjusting a drive rate of the respective pumps to compensate for discrepancies that may affect the ratio of the multiple components.

  • Patent number: 11930914
Abstract: A uniform beverage-container, or cylindrical-object, holder, having flexible arms and a clip. The body is a substantially truncated cylinder with a partially cut front area forming arms, into which a bottle may be placed. An anchoring member in the rear part of the bottle holder serves as a clip for attaching the bottle, or cylindrical object, holder to clothing or baggage. A lip is formed about the anchoring member preventing surface-to-surface contact between the anchoring member and the user's body. The bottom of the holder has a laterally positioned base. The base and arms flex, allowing a container or cylindrical object, to be removed in a motion that is directed downward and outward away from the clip. This allows a container to be removed without releasing the clip from what it is attached to.

  • Patent number: 8297101
Abstract: An apparatus and method for forming at least one end turn and one slot segment of a coil for a stator of a dynamoelectric machine includes the utilization of a plurality of forming dies. Each forming die includes two lateral surfaces extending from a base and an end turn surface disposed substantially between and connecting the two lateral surfaces. Each forming die is disposed and pivotable into an arrangement where at least one lateral surface of a first forming die is substantially adjacent and parallel to at least one lateral surface of a second forming die, a slot segment thereby formable between lateral surfaces of adjacent forming dies and an end turn is at least partially formable between an end turn surface and a base of adjacent forming dies.

  • Patent number: 8082770
Abstract: An apparatus and method for forming at least one end turn and at least one stator slot segment of a conductor for a stator of a dynamoelectric machine comprising at least two forming die sets. The forming die sets are disposed having a space substantially equal to a width of the conductor between adjacent die sets and include a female forming die and a male forming die linearly slideable to the female forming die. The die sets are disposed such that both at least one end turn and at least one stator slot segment are formable between the male forming dies and the female forming dies when the male forming dies are sequentially actuated to the female forming dies.

  • Patent number: 5302970
Abstract: A personal communicating device comprising both a base unit and a remote unit. The base unit is comprised of an alpha-numeric keyboard with recessed keys, a cradle, a super-twist screen, a printer, and an infrared transmitter. The remote unit is comprised of an infrared receiver and a display screen. A user types information on the base unit which is displayed on the base unit's screen. The same information is simultaneously transmitted and displayed by infrared transmission link to the remote unit and displayed on the remote unit's screen. The recessed keys make it physically impossible for the user to strike more than one key at a time while typing with one finger. The cradle allows the base unit to be removably attached to a variety of surfaces including the user's arm or an arm of a wheelchair.
