Abstract: The International Address System identifies a location with a combination of 10 alpha/numeric digits and does not need the input of the numeral zero or cardinal directions (i.e., north, south, east, west) to determine the location with a minimum accuracy of 129 square feet. The system utilizes a radix greater than 10 to improve accuracy without adding digits to accommodate existing displays. Such a system may be employed in hardware, software, or both, of a navigation system.
