  • Publication number: 20170124289
Abstract: A method for coordinating medical treatments and in-care patient tracking system is set forth wherein a patient peripheral enables determination of patient location data, patient identification data, and treatment data, by sensed spatiotemporal relationships of the patient peripheral within a designated area. Proximity of the patient peripheral with a practitioner peripheral enables automated association of treatment data to a patient record alongside practitioner identification data. Treatment data generated, such as collected samples and other data, effects automatic assignment of the patient identity to relevant data and materials. Inventory is trackable, and doses administered are reportable automatically to the patient record.

  • Publication number: 20170124266
Abstract: A practitioner network and appointment management system is presented that coordinates between end users and practitioners to enable networked appointment scheduling and management. The system includes an end user side and a practitioner side. End user side enables control of a scalable interactive map whereon practitioner data points are displayable by medical discipline. Practitioner first order data (including time to availability) is visually cued. Selection of a practitioner data point enables end user entry to a practitioner queue, which updates practitioner first order data across the network. Patient data is automatically transferrable to the practitioner queue by secure protocol. Practitioner side enables access of practitioner queue and selection of patients occupying designated slots therein to view associated patient data. Patient locations are displayable to practitioner for in-person visits. Practitioners can transfer patients into other practitioner queues.

  • Publication number: 20170091393
Abstract: A practitioner network and patient coordinated healthcare system devised to enable secure and private handling of a patient history as a single Electronic Coordinated Care Portfolio (“ECCP”) accessible through a patient portal via network. Multiple caregivers are able to access partitions in a patient portal comprising a plurality of COMMs for access, upload, and, for some users, download of relevant healthcare information. Access and privileges at each of the plurality of COMMs is controllable by assignment of vertical access tiers to users. Caregivers are thus enabled a holistic understanding of care provision across all caregivers for a particular patient, while patient privacy is protected. The ECCP is encodable as a unique file format to which specific security protocols are enabled and sharing of confidential data is protectable, accessible between authorized users only.

  • Publication number: 20170070399
Abstract: A site in a portal management framework may have a set of site objects given a single identity. The site may be created in the portal management framework by a console object. The portal management framework may have at least one portal providing a gateway for access to the site. Sets of users granted administrative privileges with respect to a site object may further grant and delegate administrative privileges to other sets of users to perform administration type operations on site objects over which they have administrative privileges. Server consoles may be provided for performing administration on object(s) in the portal management framework. Site consoles may be provided for performing administration on object(s) with respect to each site.

  • Publication number: 20170003397
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of determining the time of arrival of an incoming satellite signal at a receiver, the method comprising: receiving an incoming signal, multiplying of the incoming signal by a first real-valued periodic modifying signal to produce a first modified output, correlating the first modified output to obtain a first correlation output, multiplying the incoming signal by a second real-valued periodic modifying signal to produce a second modified output, correlating the second modified output to produce a second correlation output and comparing the first correlation output with the second correlation output.

  • Publication number: 20160343252
Abstract: A method of identifying a vehicle-borne transmitter emitting an interfering signal over a predefined frequency band. The method comprises monitoring the predefined frequency band at a first location to identify an emission of an interfering signal from a passing vehicle. If an interfering signal is detected, the method further comprises capturing a first image of the passing vehicle to enable an identity of the passing vehicle to be determined.

  • Publication number: 20160189180
Abstract: Participant-provided qualitative or comment-style responses to inquiries may be processed to generate processed responses, which may then be evaluated by participants for ranking. The processed responses may reflect groups of similar qualitative responses to, among other things, simplify and reduce the amount of data that needs to be reviewed by the participants for ranking. On the other hand, the processed responses may have a one-to-one correspondence with the qualitative responses, and the grouping of similar responses may occur after the participant ranking. Grouping after participant ranking may have the benefit of, among other things, simplifying the grouping, as only highest ranked responses may need to be grouped.

  • Patent number: 9196076
Abstract: A method for producing a two-dimensional (2D) animated character sequence is provided. The method includes producing a set of 2D drawings that represent one or more views of the body parts of the character being represented, analyzing an animated sequence of a three-dimensional (3D) armature in order to determine the motion of an animated character in 3D space over time, using a selection operation to determine which particular view of each body part to use to best represent that body part at any particular moment in time in the animated sequence, performing a projection operation for each bone of the armature in order to determine where, on a 2D plane, the selected drawing should be placed in a 2D animation frame, and assembling the selected body part drawings in order to produce the frames of a 2D animated character.

  • Publication number: 20150310064
Abstract: Systems and methods for defining a composite view and using the definition of the composite view to obtain, aggregate, analyze, and present data from a variety of data sources to a user. These systems and methods may allow for the definition of a visual framework to aggregate and display related data. This visual framework, or composite view, may in turn be composed of a master view and a set of subviews, each of which may display data collected from a particular data source according to a particular format. By interacting with the master view data from a variety of data sources can be displayed.

  • Publication number: 20150234797
Abstract: The sharing of objects may be executed by performing various share type administrations. Objects may be shared directly to a site or may be made available indirectly for reuse by a site. The objects shared and made available for reuse may be added to the site to which they are shared and made available for reuse. References to the objects shared and made available for reuse are stored in repositories in response to, and in accordance with, the share type administration performed. The storage of the references to objects is based on privileges associated with at least one of a repository, a site and a user. Objects made available for reuse by, and shared to, a site may be made unavailable for reuse by, and unshared to, the site through the execution of a share type administration.

  • Publication number: 20130166311
Abstract: A reference architecture embodies a common, consistent, known best practice base reference architecture and configuration that may then be used for cloning out for the base of every customer environment. Given this base, the service provider is able to control the full functionality solution layer to provide the platform for consistent monitoring, patching, upgrading, etc. Accordingly, the service provider's application solution is an integrated appliance that can contain whatever is necessary at the solution layer to allow the service provider to remotely (or within the hosting center) support, maintain and gather key system metrics to promote optimal customer performance, decrease cost of implementation/support/ownership and vastly increase service offering base.

  • Publication number: 20120074943
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for compensating for the effect of a moving door on a nearby ferromagnetic object detector. The ferromagnetic object detector is of a type to produce a main sensor signal indicative of the presence of a ferromagnetic object in the vicinity of the ferromagnetic object detector. Furthermore, the door is arranged relative to the ferromagnetic object detector such that movement of the door is liable to introduce an undesirable interference signal into the main sensor signal. The apparatus comprises an input (3) for receiving the main sensor signal and a door sensor signal that is responsive to an opening angle of the door. The apparatus also comprises an interference signal estimator (4) for estimating a door-related interference signal in dependence upon the door sensor signal and a model of interference for the door.

  • Publication number: 20120032675
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for compensating for the effect of a stray ferromagnetic object moving past but not through a sensing region of a ferromagnetic object detector. The ferromagnetic object detector is of a type to produce a plurality of sensor signals, each sensor signal being influenced by the presence of a genuine ferromagnetic object moving through the sensing region but also liable to be influenced by the presence of the stray object. The apparatus comprises: an input for receiving the plurality of sensor signals and first means for analysing the received signals to determine whether there is a substantially same time-varying component present in each of the signals. The apparatus also comprises second means for determining whether the plurality of signals without the contribution of that time-varying component are each or collectively below a predetermined level of significance.
