  • Patent number: 11740610
Abstract: Embodiments of this present disclosure may include a handle disposed on an outer surface of a housing of electrical circuitry. The handle may provide access to at least a portion of the electrical circuitry. The handle may include a status indicator that emits light in response to a control signal from control circuitry. The status indicator may be disposed around the handle. The control circuitry may detect a state of the electrical protection circuitry. The control circuitry may also transmit the control signal to the status indicator based on the state. The control signal may control one or more properties of the light emitted by the status indicator, and thus indicate to an operator the state of the electrical circuitry.

  • Publication number: 20230092348
Abstract: A safety design system assists in the development of compliant industrial safety systems. User interfaces provided by the design system guide the user through an intuitive workflow for carrying out risk assessment analysis on industrial assets and designing safety functions for mitigating risks associated with the industrial assets. These user interfaces offer multiple views of safety system design aspects, including a layout view and a table view that offer alternative views of hazard and safety function data. The system also guides the user to the selection of suitable input, logic, and output devices for each safety function based on results of the risk assessment and local industrial safety standards.

  • Patent number: 10633843
Abstract: A faucet includes a housing defining hot and cold inlets and an outlet and hot and cold fluid conduits in communication with the hot and cold inlets. A mixer within the housing receives fluids from the fluid conduits and outputs one of the fluids or a mixture thereof. The mixer includes a valve and an actuator configured to move the valve to different positions establishing various ratios of fluids output by the mixer. A temperature actuated flow reducing device within the housing downstream of the mixer restricts a flow of fluid to the outlet when a temperature of the fluid exceeds a predetermined temperature. A first pressure compensating flow regulator upstream of the mixer controls a flow of fluid from the hot fluid conduit to the mixer while a second pressure compensating flow regulator downstream of the mixer controls a flow of fluid through the outlet.

  • Publication number: 20160313724
Abstract: A safety automation builder that assists in development of compliant safety functions for industrial safety systems is provided. The safety automation builder imports a system drawing or image of a user's manufacturing line, machine, or production area, and guides the user through a workflow that facilitates configuration of safety functions for each hazardous access point. The safety automation builder leverages a library of safety devices and encoded knowledge of industrial safety standards to guide the user toward selection of suitable safety devices for mitigating risks associated with the access points. Once configured, the safety automation builder can export the safety function data to an external verification system for confirmation that the configured safety functions comply with the prescribed industrial safety standards.
