The base of the tab is integrally knit with a reciprocally knit section to reinforce the structural integrity of the tab, which may be used to assist the wearer in donning and/or doffing the sock by acting as the primary structure by which the wearer pulls the sock around the wearer's foot when donning the sock. The heel portion may have first and second integrally knit sections comprising partial-length courses.
