  • Patent number: 7779110
Abstract: An apparatus and system are provided for communicating control messages between a first device and a second device. The apparatus and system include a communication module that directs control messages between a first device and a second device through an intermediate device. The intermediate device is coupled to the first device by a control path and to the second device by a data path. The apparatus and system also include a translation module and a transmission module that cooperate to translate control messages received over the control path at the intermediate device to transport data messages and transport data messages received over the data path at the second device to control messages. Transport data messages are sent over the data path to the second device and control messages from the second device are sent over the control path to the first device.

  • Patent number: 7350649
Abstract: A modular display rack that permits sheet paper products to be stored and displayed at a variety of heights, angles and spacings. The display rack includes a frame having sidewalls from which first and second parallel, spaced apart rows of pegs protrude inwardly. A plurality of detachable trays have rearward portions that detachably mount to the pegs of the rearward row in pivotable engagement therewith, and middle portions that rest atop the pegs of the forward row. The rows of pegs may be formed as elongate strips having base portions that are mounted to the sidewalls of the frame.

  • Patent number: 7266815
Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided to perform an automated concurrent licensed internal code (LIC) update and an automated nonconcurrent LIC update on a storage controller. The automated concurrent LIC update is performed on a storage controller by sequentially updating each cluster while maintaining operation of the storage controller. The automated concurrent LIC update allows multiple hosts to continue to access data via the storage controller while the system is actively undergoing the LIC update. The automated nonconcurrent LIC update is performed during the time the storage controller in not operating. The automated nonconcurrent LIC update allows service personnel to perform the update in an efficient and timely manner. When the update has completed, the storage controller becomes available to process data and the system is operating at the latest LIC level.

  • Patent number: 7195563
Abstract: A practice putting green that is adjustable to provide a playing surface having a variety of contours. The assembly is formed of a plurality of narrow transverse support members that are arranged as segments in side-to-side relationship to define an elongate playing path. Carpet, artificial turf or other flexible material is placed atop the support members to form the playing surface. Inwardly facing wedges are mounted under the ends of the support members and are slid from side-to-side so as to selectively tilt the members and adjust the contour of the playing surface. The wedges on each segment are joined by a transverse rod so that both will move simultaneously in response to pressure on one of the wedges. The support members have a tray-shaped configuration with upwardly extending end walls, so that in combination they define an elongate channel.

  • Patent number: 4032448
Abstract: Conventional sewage ejector systems include a standpipe into which effluent may drain and seep into the surrounding soil thus causing pollution problems. This device includes a sewage ejector nozzle connected to a discharge pipe and forming part of said pipe. The nozzle and pipe are detachably secured within a sealed standpipe so that when the system is not working, the effluent within the discharge pipe drains back into the standpipe and is contained thereby until the next discharge cycle commences at which time it is picked up by the effluent passing through the jet which includes a venturi restriction. When the effluent in the standpipe is all ejected, air is picked up and entrained in the effluent stream thus aerating the discharge effluent.
