  • Patent number: 11943681
Abstract: The invention relates to a human mobility measuring method comprising a structuring step where CDR raw metadata is filtered so as to identify a device identification, a cell site identification, a date, and a time; a data frame generating and sorting step where the filtered CDR metadata is sorted and the filtered sorted CDR metadata are projected into an occupancy grid comprising a location vs. time-bin matrix, a probabilistic map generating step of a device's location in space and time, and a filtering step to accurately represent human mobility from patterns that reflect errors, uncertainties, or patterns not related with real human mobility. The method further comprises a gap filling process allowing for a continuous localization of the device by extrapolating any trajectory in space and time of any device and a projecting step comprising projecting the trajectories defined at a Voronoi grid defined by the sites and towers to the road and street grid.

  • Publication number: 20240031979
Abstract: The invention relates to a scalable and private-by-design mobility measuring method to identify stays, road traffic, micro-mobility and trips segmented by mode of transportation inferred from a set of cell sites and/or towers, each comprising an antenna, distributed in a certain region and operating for a certain period of time giving support to a certain number of devices, wherein at each site, metadata of every telecommunication events concurring at its coverage area along this period of time are collected, and all the data is centralized in a single or multiple set of CDR raw metadata, said method comprising a structuring step where CDR raw metadata is filtered so as to identify at least one of a device identification, a cell site identification, a date, and a time, a classification step where the method carries out a classification procedure comprising gathering sequences of measured events of a same user, and classifying the sequences of measured events as a single behavior among a plurality of behavior

  • Patent number: 10526543
Abstract: This method for roasting biomass, including the flow by gravity of the biomass from the top towards the bottom of a column (4) with a counter-current of hot gases flowing from the bottom towards the top of the column (4), with the establishment of an increasing temperature gradient from the top towards the bottom of the column (4), the recovery of the gases at the top of the column and their recycling at the bottom of the column (4) by way of a gas circuit (12) so that the gases flow in a closed loop in the column (4) and the gas circuit (12), and the heating of the gases recovered by passing them through a heat exchanger (16) before their recycling at the bottom of the column (4).

  • Patent number: 8663592
Abstract: For implementing startup and priming phases of a vegetable carbon production method, an installation includes a generator of hot gases with low oxygen content, and a fan downstream which boosts the hot gases into a lower part of a reactor. The reactor includes a column of substantial height whose upper inlet, with a temperature T3 of less than 65° C., is used to continuously load and add biomass and whose lower part has a grid for support and removal of the load, an underlying injection chamber for the gases from the generator, and a mechanism for retrieving processed substances. The installation also includes, at the outlet for cold gases at temperature T3 at the top of the reactor column, a thermal post-combustion chamber for the extracted gases, a heat exchanger, a fan, a second heat exchanger, a vent and connecting pipes.
