  • Patent number: 10747836
Abstract: An automatic control system for regulating the information exchange between information producer and information consumer. One control mechanism can dynamically refine the decision to include or exclude information items from the consumer information stream to improve success metrics like participation. One or more system interface request control mechanisms can dynamically provide incentive and limits for the input of audience targets, priorities, preferences, and other data. An administrator may set parameters and select success metrics to balance the goals of the information exchange participants and stakeholders. The system can also serve to resolve conflicts between the selection criteria of a consumer and the audience targets of a producer.

  • Publication number: 20180225719
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses useful for operating, regulating, and controlling an information exchange. For example, in a simplified description of one embodiment, mechanisms and methods are disclosed to dynamically determine from metrics for each information consumer an exchange value for each potential information item. Among other uses, the exchange value allows information items to be ranked and provides a component for dynamically determining, in conjunction with metrics, the bounds on a set of potential information items that may be included in the information stream of the information consumer. Further disclosed mechanisms and methods, for example, support broad dynamic control and automated operations of the information exchange.

  • Publication number: 20170277142
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems and methods for process control system performance analysis using scenario data. A method includes receiving, by an analysis system, an operating status of a process control system. The method includes identifying, by the analysis system, one or more scenarios in a scenario knowledge base that have at least one output variable that corresponds to the operating status. The method includes producing an output report, by the analysis system, that includes the operating status, the identified one or more scenarios, and one or more input variables or input variable values that correspond to the identified one or more scenarios.

  • Publication number: 20080105133
Abstract: A speed cooking with improved gas flow by-pass mechanism for radiant cooking mode. A speed cooking oven with radiant mode is disclosed comprising a cooking cavity, a controller, thermal heating source, blower assembly, air directing means, a vent assembly and a single door gas by-pass system. Hot gas is circulated by the blower motor assembly into the oven cavity where the hot air is directed in a manner wherein a conflicting, colliding turbulent gas flow is directed at a food product providing for the rapid cooking of food products. Alternatively, a single movable door may be utilized that operates between an open position wherein gas flow exhausts from the top of the oven or in the closed position wherein gas is diverted through a conduit and back to the blower mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20070017843
Abstract: A stackable display case for protecting products which are unable to support a compressive load. Such display case provides improved protection of products during shipping and sale. Such display cases are loaded with products, stacked three or more cases high, two per layer, on a pallet at a production facility before being shipped to warehouse style and other retail outlets. Such display cases allow products to be sold directly from pallets and require a minimal amount of manual labor compared to prior art shipping displays. Such display case provides visibility and accessibility from four sides of pallets, and from at least three sides of each display case. Such a display case requires substantially less manual labor at a manufacturing and shipping facility, and almost no manual labor at the point of sale.
