  • Publication number: 20240149091
Abstract: A forest fire retardant composition contains a retardant compound that includes a phosphate salt. The phosphate salt may include diammonium phosphate, diammonium orthophosphate, monoammonium phosphate, monoammonium orthophosphate, monosodium phosphate, disodium phosphate, disodium phosphate hydrate, sodium ammonium phosphate, sodium ammonium phosphate hydrate, sodium tripolyphosphate, trisodium phosphate, or dipotassium phosphate, and combinations thereof. The forest fire retardant composition may include an ammonium source. The composition may be in the form of a dry concentrate, a liquid concentrate, or a final diluted product. The final diluted product is effective in suppressing, retarding, and controlling forest fires while exhibiting corrosion resistance and low toxicity.

  • Patent number: 11975231
Abstract: A forest fire retardant composition contains a retardant compound that includes a potassium salt. The potassium salt may include a potassium salt of an organic acid, a potassium salt of an inorganic acid, or mixtures thereof. The organic acid may include formic acid, acetic acid, propanoic acid, butanoic acid, lactic acid, oxalic acid, malic acid, gluconic acid, tartaric acid, uric acid, malic acid, or citric acid. The inorganic acid may include sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, carbonic acid, or hydrochloric acid. The composition may be in the form of a dry concentrate, a liquid concentrate, or a final diluted product. The final diluted product is effective in suppressing, retarding, and controlling forest fires while exhibiting corrosion resistance and low toxicity.

  • Publication number: 20240133266
Abstract: A downhole sealing apparatus for location in a downhole tubular includes a ball and a downhole seat. The ball may comprise a rigid core and a deformable covering. The ball is translatable downhole towards the seat, the ball and the seat having an open first configuration and a sealing second configuration. In the open first configuration the ball and seat are spaced apart such that fluid may flow through the seat. In the sealing second configuration the ball and the seat are in sealing engagement and the ball is deformed to maintain the sealing engagement with the seat in response to a differential pressure acting in a first axial direction and in response to a differential pressure acting in an opposite second axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20240123272
Abstract: A forest fire retardant composition contains water and a retardant compound that includes a halide salt, a non-halide salt, a metal oxide, a metal hydroxide, or combinations thereof. The halide salt may be magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, or both. The magnesium chloride hydrate has a formula MgCl2(H2O)x, wherein x is at least one of x=1, 2, 4, 6, 8, or 12. The calcium chloride hydrate has a formula CaCl2)(H2O)x, wherein x is at least one of 1, 2, 4, or 6. The composition may be in the form of a liquid concentrate or a final diluted product. The final diluted product is effective in suppressing, retarding, and controlling forest fires while exhibiting corrosion resistance and low toxicity.

  • Patent number: 11911684
Abstract: Systems and methods for resolving discrepancies between recordings made by multiple scorekeepers for a game comprising discrete events. In an example, a discrepancy resolving system include at least two personal computing devices and a remote server connected thereto, wherein each of the personal computing devices and the server is equipped with software which enables the personal computing devices to receive recordings of game events from a different scorekeeper, sending such recordings to the server, where the recordings from different scorekeepers are compared and discrepancies detected. The discrepancies are sent back to the computing devices for further responses from the scorekeepers. When the responses from different scorekeepers agree with each other, the discrepancies are resolved.

  • Publication number: 20230385830
Abstract: An interchange computer system includes a billing computer relationship that has a plurality of reference billing computer identifiers and a plurality of reference sensory representations, wherein each reference sensory representation is associated with a respective reference billing computer identifier. A billing identifier receiver receives, from a payment portal computer system, a billing identifier representing a user. A billing identifier transmission module transmits the billing identifier to a plurality of remote billing computer systems at the respective reference billing computer identifiers. A response receiving module receives a positive response from one or more of the billing computer systems. A sensory representation selection module determines select sensory representations for presentation and confirmation by a user at a user computer system connected to the payment portal computer system.
