    Abstract: An apparatus for temporarily clamping a tubular graft to a prosthetic cardiac valve includes a tube having a proximal end and a distal end and a clamping line partially disposed within the tube and having a secured end fastened to the tube and a free end extending from the tube. The clamping line forms a loop extending from the proximal end of the tube that is adapted to expand as the free end is advanced into the tube and is contracted as the free end is withdrawn from the tube.
