  • Patent number: 9850699
Abstract: A buck panel adapted to be interconnected with other panels to form a buck to frame a bulkhead or an opening in an insulated concrete form wall for receiving a window or door. The buck panel has a foam portion, a central support beam, a first lateral support beam, and a second lateral support beam. The central support beam is positioned longitudinally within a center portion of the foam portion. A plurality of wings extend from the central support beam in such a way that the wings protrude from an internal surface of the foam portion so as to be received in concrete poured over the internal surface. The first and second lateral support beams are positioned longitudinally within a first side and a second side of the foam portion, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20170183866
Abstract: A barrier system for use with a structure having a wall formed of a plurality of insulating concrete form blocks. The barrier system includes a support member having a web, a first flange, and a second flange extending from opposing ends of the web to define a pair of panel receiving cavities on opposing sides of the web. The first flange has a first wing extending outwardly and perpendicularly from the first flange, and the second flange has a second wing extending outwardly and perpendicularly from the second flange. The support member is positionable on the top end of one of the insulating concrete forms with a top end receivable in one of the panel receiving cavities, and a bottom end of another insulating concrete form is positionable in another one of the panel receiving cavities. One of the first wing and the second wing extends towards the concrete receiving cavity.

  • Patent number: 8869479
Abstract: A web structure for connecting two foam panels comprising a pair of web inserts adapted to be molded in the foam panels. Each of the web inserts has an elongated end plate and a pair of central male connector members supported by the elongated end plate. A pair of bridges is connected to the web inserts so as to extend between the foam panels. Each of the bridges having a cross member, a first female connector member formed on one end of the cross member and a second female connector member formed on an opposing end of the cross member. The first and second female connector members each having a cavity shaped to matingly receive one of the central male connector members of the web inserts from a lateral side of the first and second female connector members.

  • Patent number: 8590254
Abstract: A deck block adapted to be interconnected with other deck blocks to form an insulating deck for casting concrete. The deck block comprising a foam panel at least one hole extending into the panel from the one end toward an opposing end such that the hole has an open end and a closed end. At least one protrusion extends from the panel and the protrusion is matingly receivable in at least a portion of a hole of a like panel to interconnect the panels in an end-to-end relationship. The panel has a vertical groove extending from a bottom surface and intersecting the opening of the panel to provide a fluid flow channel from the opening to the bottom surface of the panel when the like panels are interconnected. The protrusion has a horizontal groove extending along a lower end thereof from a distal end of the protrusion to a proximal end thereof so as to intersect the vertical groove.
