    Abstract: A system and method for preparing a cancer vaccine (and optionally purifying the blood) has a blood filtration system, controlled by a processing unit, for filtering exogenous blood plasma to isolate tumor cells, tumor stem cells and tumor breakdown products. The blood filtration system filter may include multiple layers having differently sized apertures to retain differently sized materials (from among tumor cells of different sizes, tumor stem cells and tumor breakdown products. A device directs electromagnetic radiation at the separated tumor cells, tumor stem cells and/or tumor breakdown products. The electromagnetic radiation may cause the separated tumor cells, separated tumor stem cells and/or separated tumor breakdown products (for example tumor protein such as DNA and/or tumor exosomes) to have a coagulated outer layer such as by degrading the outer surface. The electromagnetic radiation may have a UV wavelength. A conical coil improves flow rate uniformity. Tumor exosomes may be centrifuged.

    Abstract: A system for non-invasive monitoring of an intracranial reserve space (ICRS) of a mammalian subject includes an at least two-dimensional multi-frequency ultrasound probe configured to emit and receive ultrasound waves into and from a head of the subject and to produce a signal of intracranial brain tissue pulsations, a pressure applicator mechanism, including at least one surface, configured to non-invasively apply an external pressure to a skull and a processor(s) configured to derive an intracranial brain tissue pulsation waveform and a length of a time interval ending when an amplitude has declined or when the waveform is compressed. In some embodiments, an existence of brain atrophy is determined. The location of the brain atrophy is determined by comparing the lengths of the time interval depending on the brain region (temporal, frontal, occipital, parietal) at which the intracranial reserve space is measured.

A controller unit of the transmitting node codes and transmits a data field by modulating a sequence of pulses with varying durations defined by deviating a number of level transitions of a known cyclic signal waveform by a series of delays. The series of delays indicates a sequence of data symbols to be transmitted and the series of delays is calculated by applying different modulation calculations for odd and even elements of the data field.

The processing unit is configured to detect a decrease in amplitude of the ICP waveform (occurring in some embodiments only after an intermediate period of ICRS compensation), the processing unit configured to determine the ICP of the person from a sum of applied external pressures from a time of the initial value A1 until a final value at which the amplitude remains stable with additional increase in applied external pressure. In some cases, the final value is earlier than that but the processing unit extrapolates the sum to when the amplitude remains stable with additional increases in pressure.
