  • Patent number: 11138432
Abstract: Provided are mechanisms and processes for visual feature tagging in multi-view interactive digital media representations (MIDMRs). In one example, a process includes receiving a visual feature tagging request that includes an MIDMR of an object to be searched, where the MIDMR includes spatial information, scale information, and different viewpoint images of the object. A visual feature in the MIDMR is identified, and visual feature correspondence information is created that links information identifying the visual feature with locations in the viewpoint images. At least one image associated with the MIDMR is transmitted in response to the feature tagging request.

  • Patent number: 11127479
Abstract: A memory quality engine can improve the operation of a memory system by setting more effective operating parameters, disabling or removing memory devices unable to meet performance requirements, and providing evaluations between memory populations. These improvements can be accomplished by converting quality measurements of a memory population into CDF-based data, formulating comparisons of the CDF-based data to metrics for quality analysis, and applying the quality analysis. In some implementations, the metrics for quality analysis can use one or more thresholds, such as a system trigger threshold or an uncorrectable error correction condition threshold, which are set based on the error correction capabilities of a memory system. Formulating the comparison to these metrics can include determining a margin between the CDF-based data at a particular codeword frequency and one of the thresholds.

  • Patent number: 11113115
Abstract: Dynamically allocating workloads to a fixed number of CPU resources within a compute platform. Determining whether a workload should be in a Dedicated Class of workloads and assigned to a dedicated CPU resource or in a Shared Class of workloads that is handled by a set of at least one shared CPU resource, wherein a shared CPU resource may service more than one workload. The determination may be made based on a comparison of a parameter from two samples of a parameter taken at different times. The determination may be made using metadata associated with the workload. The determination may be made repeatedly so that some workloads may change from being in the Dedicated Class to the Shared Class or from the Shared Class to the Dedicated Class. High availability virtual network functions may be handled economically by deeming the failover workloads to be in the Shared Class.

  • Publication number: 20210255483
Abstract: An unobtrusive augmented reality (AR) system can be used to assist the wearer in every day interactions by projecting information from the contact lens display onto the retina of the wearer's eye. The unobtrusive augmented reality system includes a necklace and a contact lens display that are unobtrusive to the wearer and the wearer's surrounding environment. The necklace of the unobtrusive augmented reality system generates power and data for the contact lens displays. The necklace and contact lens display include conductive coils inductively coupled by a magnetic field. The inductive coupling allows data and power generated by the necklace to be transferred to the contact lens display. A projector in the contact lens display projects images generated from the data onto the retina of the wearers eye.

  • Patent number: 11095563
Abstract: A system includes a first and at least one second processing circuit, a configuration engine, and a switch. The configuration engine stores a virtual link configuration for a plurality of virtual links, which indicates a priority and a predetermined network pathway for communicating data packets from the first processing circuit to the at least one second processing circuit. The configuration engine automatically assigns priority to a first virtual link of the plurality of virtual links based on at least one of latency or jitter. The switch receives a first data packet from the first processing circuit. A first virtual link identifier is extracted from the first data packet. A first priority and a first predetermined network pathway corresponding to the first virtual link identifier from the virtual link configuration are retrieved. The first data packet is transmitted along the first predetermined network pathway based on the first priority.

  • Publication number: 20210247778
Abstract: The Smart Auxiliary Vehicle (SAV) is a vehicle that accompanies another vehicle or object, allowing passenger and cargo space to be modular. The principal use of the SAV is modular vehicle transportation for reduction of energy consumption related to transportation. The SAV may or may not have a mechanical connection between it and the vehicle or object it accompanies. When a mechanical connection is not present, various technologies will allow the SAV to move in concert with another vehicle or object. When a mechanical connection is present, propulsion and/or braking systems will also be present, eliminating towing capacity restrictions, and differentiating the SAV from an ordinary trailer. This invention relates to the field of transportation technology.
