  • Patent number: 8954547
Abstract: A system is provided for updating the conditions under which a telecommunication device accesses services provided by a telecommunication network. The system includes a network access point through which the device accesses the network, and a database, wherein the system authenticates the device via the access point on the basis of authentication data transferred by the device as well as the database storing the profile associated with the authentication data. The access point controls the conditions under which the device accesses the network services once the device has been authenticated and on the basis of the device profile. The system generates a second authentication command for the device via the access point following an alteration of the profiled associated with the authentication data.

  • Publication number: 20080260120
Abstract: To evaluate the use of services accessible from a user terminal via a telecommunication network, an authentication sever authenticates the user of the terminal and transmits identifiers of the services to a control device to authorize the user terminal to access the services. In response to the service identifiers triggering an opening of control sessions for accessible services from the user terminal, an evaluation module evaluates the data traffics exchanged between the user terminal and service servers dispensing the services accessible in traffic accounts, and transmits to a management server, service control messages each including a service identifier and a traffic account relating to an accessible service after the closure of control sessions relating to the services.

  • Publication number: 20080046974
Abstract: A client accesses services provided by a service provider by transmitting and/or receiving information in a point-to-point session with a session concentrator via a telecommunication network. An access control protocol controls access to the services provided by the service provider. A client that does not conform is authorized to access a network for non-conforming clients. A point-to-point session is established between the non-conforming client and the session concentrator. The session concentrator transfers the information transmitted by the non-conforming client to a network for clients that conform to the access control protocol.

  • Publication number: 20080040491
Abstract: A client is authenticated for access to a virtual network so the client can access services provided by service providers. The compatibility of the client with a predetermined access control protocol for access to the virtual network is determined. If the client is not compatible with the predetermined access control protocol, data transfer is authorised between the client and at least one subscription system for subscribing the client to at least one service provider. If the client subscribes to at least one service provider, there is a transfer to the client of (1) an authentication for accessing the services of the service provider to which the client is subscribed and (2) information which makes it possible to make the client compatible with the predetermined access control protocol.
