Abstract: An apparatus for securing a crossbar to a rail of a rack system for a vehicle includes a housing having a first end including a first jaw and a second end including a track. A crossbar plate is slidable along the track such that a distance between the crossbar plate and the first jaw varies as the crossbar plate slides along the track. A hook is pivotally coupled to the housing and includes a second jaw disposed opposite the first jaw, thereby defining an aperture for receiving a rail therebetween. A lever is pivotally coupled to the housing, the lever securing the crossbar plate relative to the track in a closed position and releasing the crossbar plate to move freely along the track in an open position. In the closed position, the lever moves the second jaw towards the first jaw to secure the rail therebetween.

Abstract: An adjustable interconnected lockset adapted to be secured to a door which includes a mounting plate assembly having a vertically extending mounting plate having an operator bracket proximate the bottom thereof with the operator bracket having screw receiving holes. The lockset also has an exterior operator assembly including internally threaded posts, first screw holes extending through the mounting plate and screws which extend through the mounting plate and threadedly engaging with the threaded posts to clamp the door between the exterior operator assembly and the mounting plate assembly. The mounting plate has a central opening extending vertically upwardly from a location proximate the operator bracket and defining mounting plate side panels on either side thereof and the mounting plate assembly further has a dead bolt bracket which includes a central door engaging portion, a pair of opposed side portions adapted to engage the mounting plate side panels, and screw receiving holes.

Abstract: A lockset 20 includes an interior knob 24 mounted on an insert 26 and an exterior knob 62 mounted on an insert 64. A rose liner 30 and a cover 58 are mounted on the insert and provide a spaced bearing support for an interior assembly including knob 24. A rose liner 70 is mounted on insert 64 and combines with a security shield 146 and bearing 148 to provide a spaced bearing support for an exterior assembly including knob 62. Knob 62 is assembled with insert 64 through dimples 164 and projections 168 to allow slippage of the knob on the insert upon the application of excessive force without destruction of elements of lockset 20.
