  • Publication number: 20250139726
Abstract: Improved security checkpoint includes a security scanning system having multiple personal item intake locations, a security scanner, multiple personal item retrieval locations, and a plurality of computer-controlled vehicles for transporting personal items between the personal item intake locations, the security scanner, and the personal item retrieval locations. Personal items are placed into a tote by an individual, and the computer-controlled vehicles collect the totes containing the personal items, transport the tote to an available security scanner, deposit the tote at the security scanner, and then transport the tote either to a retrieval location or secondary screening location after the personal item has been screened.

  • Patent number: 12264497
Abstract: A door assembly includes a door having opposing first and second surfaces and a hole defined in the door and extending between the first and second surfaces, a cylinder lock mounted to the second surface at the hole, and a cylinder dry lock assembly mounted to the door at the hole adjacent the first surface. The cylinder dry lock assembly including a main body that defines a central orifice, a low-friction member received within the central orifice, and an actuation mechanism extending from the low-friction member and engageable with the cylinder lock. Actuating the cylinder lock rotates the actuation mechanism, and the cylinder dry lock assembly generates a sealed interface at the hole that prevents water from migrating between the first and second surfaces at the hole.

  • Patent number: 12188298
Abstract: A door system includes a doorframe having opposing vertical jambs, a door pivotably coupled to the doorframe, a threshold extending between the opposing vertical jambs and providing an upper surface that defines a valley, and a dam removably mountable to the threshold at the valley. A valley seal interposes the dam and the threshold at the valley when the dam is mounted to the threshold and thereby generates a sealed interface between the dam and the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240149490
Abstract: A method of fabricating a refractory metal ceramic matrix interpenetrating phase harsh environment capable composite is provided. The method includes forming a reinforcing phase by additive manufacturing and introducing a matrix material to the reinforcing phase. The step of introducing the matrix material may be performed by additive manufacturing or a densification process. The reinforcing phase may be a lattice formed of metal or a ceramic, and the matrix material may be a ceramic or a metal. Alternatively, the reinforcing phase formed by additive manufacturing is a laminate layer, and the matrix material introduced to the reinforcing phase is a laminate layer deposited on the reinforcing phase by additive manufacturing in a plurality of alternating layers. A refractory metal ceramic matrix composite is also disclosed. The refractory metal ceramic matrix composite includes a lattice formed by additive manufacturing, and a matrix material deposited in the lattice.

  • Patent number: 11747379
Abstract: In an embodiment, an apparatus is disclosed that comprises a plurality of resistors arranged as a reverse bridge and configured to convert an input voltage to a scaled output voltage. The scaled output voltage is scaled to a target format based at least in part on a range of the input voltage and a fixed value of the plurality of resistors. The input voltage is generated based at least in part on at least one signal generated by a sensor based at least in part on a measurement of a property of a measurement target. At least one of the plurality of resistors has a resistance value of R and at least another of the plurality of resistors has a resistance value of R plus or minus ?R.
