  • Patent number: 10926956
Abstract: A foldable conveyor system is disclosed appropriate for loading and unloading an airplane using two people. In one embodiment, the foldable conveyor system is formed of a plurality of foldable sections, where each section has a first half and a second half foldably connected to each other. Each first half and each second half has reversible tension-controlled conveyor belts for moving luggage into or out of an aircraft. When fully deployed, and thus operating flat along the interior of an aircraft, the foldable conveyor system operates to move luggage and other objects placed on the foldable conveyor system in a selected direction.

  • Patent number: 10486905
Abstract: A foldable conveyer system is disclosed appropriate for loading and unloading an airplane using two people. In one embodiment, the foldable conveyer system is formed of a plurality of foldable sections, where each section has a first half and a second half foldably connected to each other. Each first half and each second half has reversible tension-controlled conveyer belts for moving luggage into or out of an aircraft. • Publication number: 20190262363
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of osteoarthritis. The inventors showed that accumulated metabolic risk factors, hypertension, obesity, dyslipidemia, insulin resistance (known as metabolic syndrome), lead to severe osteoarthritis articular phenotype. They showed in rats that preventive and chronic mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist eplerenone treatment can improve the metabolic syndrome related osteoarthritis. In particular, the present invention relates to an antagonist of mineralocorticoid receptor for use in a method for the treatment of osteoarthritis in a subject in need thereof.

  • Patent number: 9660374
Abstract: An electrical connector providing a sealed electrical link between an inside environment subjected to corrosive gases or liquids under pressure and an outside environment of different pressure. The connector includes a connector body, conductor cables, a thermoplastic insulator, and a sealing element. The connector body is secured to a structure and includes insulating feed-throughs for receiving electrical contacts connecting an outside environment to an inside environment. The conductor cables, comprising an outer insulating layer made of a fusible thermoplastic material, are connected to said electrical contacts inside said inside environment. The thermoplastic insulator is secured to said connector body and surrounds the conductor cables. The thermoplastic insulator and cable outer insulating layers are made of a same type of fusible thermoplastic material making it possible, by localized fusion, to form a thermoplastic weld therebetween.

  • Patent number: 8927864
Abstract: An electrical connection is provided for an environment that is subjected to corrosive gases or liquids. An outer insulating layer is formed on each of at least two conductors and made up of a fluorinated polymer that is meltable at a temperature situated between the temperature of the environment and a predetermined higher temperature. A heat-shrink sleeve surrounds the conductors and is made up of an outer layer of heat-shrink polymer and an inner layer of the fluorinated polymer that is meltable at a temperature situated between the temperature of the environment and the predetermined higher temperature. A weld is formed by melting the outer insulating layers of the conductors and the inner layer of the heat-shrink sleeve by heating to a temperature higher than the temperature of the environment and lower than the predetermined higher temperature, thereby making a weld that is continuous and leaktight, and of controlled thickness.
