  • Publication number: 20220111165
Abstract: The invention discloses a single multi-ventilator for treating multiple patients using one ventilator device. Potentially, the single disclosed multi-ventilator can be used to ventilate an entire department of patients using personalized ventilation parameters and settings. In case of emergency, such as Covid-19, health care system may be overwhelmed by a number of patients requiring ventilator medical care to keep them alive. In such a situation, a presented ventilator solves a problem of choosing which patients will receive a ventilator treatment and which will not. The invented ventilator provides individualized artificial ventilation care for multiple connected patients to it according to parameters determined and set by a physician. It is important to mention that control means and main processing means will be centralized in our invention, which is another advantage of the invented ventilator. Separate inspiration and expiration lines make the ventilator safe to use and easy to clean and to disinfect.

  • Patent number: 10410532
Abstract: The invention discloses a centralized city-wide automatic real-time system and method for air traffic control of aerial vehicles (both manned and unmanned) in urban environment, wherein each air traffic control object includes a GPS/ADS-B equipment, transmitter and receiver for bi-directional communications with the central processing server unit. The aerial vehicles will be centrally controlled in the entire city in such a way that they will fly directly above existing paved roads in the city, through predetermined vertical altitude levels. By moving above the existing roads, the number of potential conflicts will be decreased. Major conflict zones could be defined at road intersections and areas surrounding road intersections.

  • Patent number: 9076332
Abstract: A multiobjective management system for saturated traffic road networks comprising: green wave coordination of locally adaptive traffic control units, traffic movement optimization and live traffic route guidance. Current traffic congestion measurements on intersections are generated from local traffic cameras and remote air-borne conventional cameras and thermal sensing imaging cameras or satellite radar such as SAR/ISAR using optical image brightness analysis. At the first stage of traffic optimization, individual local intersection green times are computed based on current traffic congestion level. At the second stage optimization, the central traffic server uses a multiobjective approach to coordinate the current locally-optimized green times of the first stage and create input constraints for green-way coordination of plurality of traffic lights.

  • Publication number: 20140018902
Abstract: An individually tailored endovascular stent graft device and procedure is for performing a no-cut repair of different aneurysm types: ascending, descending, arch, abdominal and cerebral aneurysms. Many aneurysm types can thus be treated without the need for open heart surgery. The stent may be biomaterial based (collagen-based in the preferred embodiment). No shape-memory metals need be used therefore allowing better implantation flexibility and better patient recovery. The stent may be fixated in the designated treatment area by remotely activating individually capsulated bicomponent biological glue by UV light/ultrasound means, wherein each component of the glue is coated separately. Further presented is a method for calculating stent graft implantation path by determining the sequence of implantation points through computer simulation means, wherein the implantation is done by discrete pulses.

  • Patent number: 7801512
Abstract: The present invention includes systems and methods for detecting a speed limit violation based on the movement of a cell phone in a moving vehicle. The system and method determine whether a speeding violation has occurred based periodic cell phone location data, the time between a cell phone's presence at one location and the next, and the speed limit of the section of a section of road that the cell phone could be located on. Embodiments of systems and methods of the invention detect whether a moving vehicle may be part of a public transit system, in which case the corresponding cell phones are removed from consideration. The system and method also include generating a speeding ticket for a car determined to have violated a corresponding speed limit, keeping a record of a speeding violation, and sending a request to settle the ticket if it is not paid on time.
