    Abstract: Internal tissue movement is correlated with the external body surface movement by tracking external surface movement at a plurality of surface point (12), simultaneously imaging internal tissue movement and correlating the external and internal movement using partial least squares regression to obtain a correlation model. In subsequent techniques, internal tissue movement can be predicted from measured external surface movement using the correlation model.
