    Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying contextual information in streams of content being delivered by streaming platforms are discussed. In response to a request for additional content, streaming content is examined for relevant contextual information that occurs close in time to upcoming scheduled breaks. The identified contextual information may be used to insert additional content in the stream of content. Techniques for determining and applying a ratio for the handling of requests amongst multiple streaming platforms and a video ingestion and processing framework are also discussed.
