  • Patent number: 10492784
Abstract: A surgical stapling device includes a handle assembly, an elongate body extending distally from the handle assembly, and a tool assembly. The tool assembly is mounted onto the distal portion of the elongate body for articulation and includes a staple cartridge that supports a plurality of staples and pushers. An actuation sled is movable through the staple cartridge to eject staples from the staple cartridge and a clamp member is movable through the tool assembly to move the tool assembly from an open position to an approximated position and to advance the actuation sled through the staple cartridge to eject staples and transect tissue. In order to minimize the space for the firing assembly in the proximal portion of the tool assembly, the actuation sled and clamp member are supported in a nested relationship in a pre-actuated state of the tool assembly. The clamp member is subsequently moved to a position proximal of the actuation sled during a firing stroke of the stapling device.

The tool assembly includes an actuation sled that is movable through a staple cartridge to eject staples from the staple cartridge and a clamp member that is movable through the tool assembly to move the tool assembly from an open position to an approximated position. In order to minimize dead space in a proximal portion of the tool assembly, the actuation sled and clamp member are supported in a nested relationship in a pre-actuated state of the surgical stapling device. The clamp member is subsequently moved to a position proximal of the actuation sled during a firing stroke of the stapling device.

  • Patent number: 10454866
Abstract: Embodiments provide IP address partitioning features that can be used to source outbound email communications, but the embodiments are not so limited. In an embodiment, a computer-based method operates to remove blocked or potentially misused IP addresses from a partition and/or move good or reputable IP addresses from other partitions to account for volumetric shortfalls. A method of one embodiment operates to repair removed IP address reputations as part of recycling and reusing IP addresses. A system of an embodiment is configured in part to remove misused IP addresses from one or more partitions, source reputable IP addresses from other partitions, and/or repair and reuse IP addresses as needed. Other embodiments are included.

  • Patent number: 10399722
Abstract: A tape closure system is shown and described herein. The tape closure system includes a first tape component having a pressure sensitive adhesive and a second tape component having a pressure sensitive adhesive, where at least one of the pressure sensitive adhesives has a modified surface to reduce the tack of the surface such that when the first and second pressure adhesives are brought into contact with one another they may sufficiently adhere to one another to form a seal but are still separable from one another and able to be repeatedly opened and sealed. Such a tape may be manufactured through high speed manufacturing processes and wound into large master rolls. In the roll configuration, the modified surface contacts the backside of the liner and experiences compressive forces in the roll. Due to the compressive forces, a part of the modified surface may get pushed into the PSA, thereby affecting the properties of the modified adhesive.
