  • Publication number: 20160303933
Abstract: A system includes a first vehicle, a second vehicle, and a load transferring apparatus intermediate the first vehicle and the second vehicle. The apparatus includes a substantially rigid linkage connecting the first vehicle to second vehicle which is configured to transmit a generally horizontal force between the first vehicle and the second vehicle, and a load transferring bar extending at a downward angle from the first vehicle to one of the second vehicle or the linkage. The load transferring bar is configured to selectively transfer weight from the first vehicle to the second vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9443247
Abstract: A dashboard application can enable a user to quickly view data (and, in a particular aspect, data from one or more business applications) in an efficient manner. The dashboard application can be used to view data about one or more metrics that reflect the performance of a business, as derived from data maintained (perhaps in an associated data store) by the business application(s). In an aspect, a user can select two or more metrics to be displayed on a summary page and/or can invoke a detail page to view detailed information about one of the two or more metrics.

  • Publication number: 20160102390
Abstract: Millions of tons of steel are manufactured each year around the world. Typically gas filled void spaces within a steel matrix are not a desirable attribute in any application. With an increasing need to monitor and address carbon dioxide emissions it is desirable to utilize this by-product of current industrial processes and the internal structure of steel provides a unique place to keep carbon dioxide. With the addition of carbon dioxide into the steel matrix during or before casting the final product will have altered strength characteristics, however it will also add the advantage of certain benefits such as increased strength to weight ratio for the over all steel component. Variation in gas volume and distribution will allow for a variety of new products.

  • Patent number: 9086783
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for providing and using user interfaces for search and select forms on mobile devices. According to one embodiment, providing a user interface of a search function for an application can comprise generating the user interface including a plurality of controls. Each control can be associated with a search criteria and can provide for a selection of one or more values for the associated search criteria. The user interface can be provided to a mobile device. An indication of a selection of one of the controls can then be received from the mobile device. The user interface can be updated based on the selected control being associated with either a single-select criteria or a multi-select criteria. One or more values for the search criteria associated with the selected control can then be received through the updated user interface.
