  • Publication number: 20240146986
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for utilizing deferred edge authentication to validate requests for resources of a content delivery network. In one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems receive, at an edge server from a client device, a request for a content item. In some embodiments, in response to receiving the request, the disclosed systems determine that the content item is stored at the edge server with a corresponding response header received from an origin server and validate the request, at the edge server, utilizing security information from the response header. In some embodiments, in response to receiving the request, the disclosed systems determine that the content item is not available at the edge server, request the content item from the origin server, and receive the content item with the corresponding response header from the origin server.

  • Patent number: 11132209
Abstract: Integrated profile simulation techniques for dynamic content are disclosed. In some embodiments, integrated profile simulation for dynamic content includes providing an authoring tool for developing web content that varies based on a user context, and provides for the following: receiving a request to change from a first user profile to a second user profile without requirement for input of user credentials associated with the second user profile, and wherein the currently selected user profile is displayed; dynamically refreshing web content based on the second user profile; and displaying the dynamically refreshed web content.

  • Patent number: 10135964
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for pairing a mobile device with a second device based on the mobile device being placed flat against a touch screen of the second device. The mobile device determines that is has been placed in a predetermined orientation that matches the orientation of the display of the second device. The second device detects the contact of the mobile device with its touch screen. Both devices send timestamps of their respective determinations to a server that compares the timestamps. If the timestamps match within a predetermined threshold, the server initiates pairing of the devices.

  • Patent number: 9419959
Abstract: Methods and systems for authenticating users and assigning authenticated users to groups are provided. A method receives a user credential and email address. The method forwards an authentication request including the email address and credential to a remote authentication provider. Based in part on the presence of a full user name in a received response, the method determines that the user is authenticated. Another method extracts a domain name from a received email address of an authenticated user. In response to determining that the domain name is associated with a group, the method assigns the user to the group. A system includes memory with instructions for assigning an authenticated user to a group. The system receives the user's email address and extracts a domain name from the email address. In response to determining that the domain name is associated with a group, the system assigns the user to the group.

  • Patent number: 9372931
Abstract: One exemplary embodiment involves simulating personalized content included on a web page based on user characteristics comprising at least a geographic location. The embodiment involves receiving a plurality of user characteristics comprising at least the geographic location and determining, based on the user characteristics, the personalized content to include on the web page. The embodiment further involves causing one or more actions to dynamically refresh the web page to include the determined personalized content.

  • Publication number: 20140297426
Abstract: One exemplary embodiment involves receiving input during a simulation of a website, the input providing a test value for a user characteristic associated with simulated use of the website, the website having a configuration to provide an e-commerce service and personalized content based on the user characteristic. The embodiment further involves determining the personalized content according to the configuration based at least in part on the test value for the user characteristic and rendering the personalized content on a simulated web page of the website during the simulation.
